Final Fantasy XIV!! My absolute favorite MMO
does it cost to play it and is it a playstation game ?
It is subscription based and you can play it on PlayStation but in my opinion, it's hard to play on controller.
II know people who can manage it, so it's not impossible.
It's subscription based, yes, but you can play the free trial which contains both the base game and the first expansion. It has no limits other than a level cap, a gold (gil) cap, and the inability to use the marketplace or communicate with others (to prevent bots from exploiting it). So you can give it a try and see if it's your cup of tea.
I've played many other MMOs since 2007 and in my opinion this one blows all the competition out of the water, no contest. The base game is a bit of a boring slogfest at first, but then the story picks up the pace and starts to get much better. Heavensward is widely considered an amazing story. Both combined can give you hundreds of hours of playtime without paying a cent, so it's definitely worth a shot.
