Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The Great Commission was originally told to the disciples by Jesus Christ. However, I do not believe that this was only limited to the apostles, but meant as a message to all believers in Jesus Christ.
We also see other examples in The Holy Bible of those that would evangelize such as Paul and Barnabas. Jesus was another example of someone who would evangelize to others and as I see it, we are called to be like Christ. I do believe that this means that all Christians must do their part to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
As uncomfortable as it may seem, that's also what I hope to help with in this sub-forum. There are also many different forms of evangelism. I always find a good ice breaker to be handing out tracts or putting together small care packages with a small Bible, bottle of water, and a tract inside a clear bag and handing them out to the homeless around town. Although, another person might be more drawn to open air preaching. Whatever the route, reaching out to others is a great goal to have.
Growing is an essential part to being a Christian and to help lead others to Christ is a rewarding experience that helps spiritual growth in others, too 3nodding

I've been trying to get my tiktok up to do preaching and outreach through it. I've had some AMAZING people I've met on and in the lives in Christiantiktok and I'd love to use that platform to reach folks. Open air preaching has also been something I've felt a call to do but honestly I just don't know if I'm well enough in The Word to really really get into it.... I've started by trying to jot down sermon ideas and stuff like that just as sort of general practice. Its not going super well, I find if I just record for example and just go off the top of my head I do a bit better than trying to organize stuff. Which is why I kinda lean towards that Open Air preaching.

That's a great idea! There are many people out there on TikTok.
While I can't say I'd ever use TikTok for myself, wherever there is light - it can help combat the darkness around it.
I find that I have witnessed on GaiaOnline for many years, but haven't gone too much outside of that as far as online goes. There were a few times where I used to hop on Omegle to try and reach out, but that was so many years ago. It's not really a chat site I'd recommend to others, it's not the cleanest and some people are questionable at best.
The Evidence Bible by Living Waters has a lot of points on how to open air preach and spring boards and such you can use:
To be fair, I haven't ever done open air preaching. In real life, I have mostly gone with tracts, but I do hope to get past that some time and do at least one open air preaching type of thing.
That reminds me of this random story:
I remember walking into a store and at this store, many times there was a Christian group selling shirts/hats with their logo on it. They said they were raising funds for missions and things like that. Well, one time my husband, the kids, and I were in the store and my husband forgets his wallet in the car and I didn't have the money on me we needed to pay. So, I rush back to the van, and get my husband's wallet. On my way back in, I'm trying to hurry so people don't have to wait in line too awfully long.
The man from the booth comes up to me and starts to make some small talk. "Have you heard of us before?" and such. I say, "No, I haven't. I need to get back into the store real quick." The guy says, "Here, take a flyer then." I said, "Not this time, thanks." as I tried to rush on, but then he said something, I can't remember what, to trick me into taking a flyer...he was laughing about it even though I said, "No, thank you." I didn't respect that group too much after that...I mean, his intentions probably weren't bad, but if he can't take, "No." for an answer then that alone worries me.
Practice makes better! Always going over what you plan to say is great practice. It becomes second nature after a point, which is a great thing!

I've been trying to do my best to help educate some family and friends about the misconceptions regarding Christianity and to much success I'd say.
My short-term goal is this Pascha (Easter) to gather most family and friends nearby and say some prayers together before the feast as well as participate in my wife's chrismation into the orthodox faith.
Long-term I'd like to start participating in local bible readings or study groups at the local community college. I've noticed quite a lot of people as of this past year going back to church or inquiring into Christianity in general and I'd love to help with guiding people as best I can.

It's great when we're able to shine the light on misconceptions and with success, especially.
Totally forgot about Easter coming up. My brain has been so scrambled with everything lately >_< perhaps I should think about some outreach to do then, too. Sometimes we'd go around handing out care packages to the homeless with a small bible inside and we still have plenty of those little bibles that need homes so it'd be fun.
It's great to have outreach goals and it's lovely to hear when other believers have goals to tell others about God and Jesus Christ. I always love to hear about it and am so fascinated with outreach and where others are on their outreach journey. The church I grew up in...they are too terrified of any type of outreach, but it's so bad...they don't seem to want to grow, they aren't all that welcoming to new people, the majority of that church is family whether by blood or marriage, and it seems the latest outreach effort there - we have a member that grew up Mormon, but she's been Christian for the past 17-18 years or so. She was trying hard to get in some more outreach and I am not sure what that church said or did, but now she's completely submissive to their stupid idea of not outreaching to others. It makes me sad...they broke her spirit.
Your long and short term goals sound awesome 3nodding they sound like good things to get involved in.

Yeah I feel like when I'm reaching out to folks, If Holy Spirit doesn't move that person at that time, its just not for me to harvest that wheat. Someone else might fare better at another time. I'm really careful how I approach people because I realize especially say on tiktok I might have about 15 seconds to really get someone to pay attention to something. And then if someone comments I can always engage with them that way. I don't have the followers to go live yet but I'm slowly getting there and even if I don't get there I can post plenty of videos. I don't really treat it like a 100% Christian tiktok cause I also post stuff of like me and my dog and what not, to show people I'm not just a bible spouting robot or anything. But like thats kinda the cool thing about online outreach, I'm kinda like a Johnny Appleseed, I'm walking along tossing seeds and hoping something takes root as I move along.
Someone asked me to describe myself as a Christian in one sentence or less, and my first thought was "A gritty sinner" and thats more or less how I approach people. It attracts some of the most random people you can imagine.

Sounds like your building stuff up to reach others and that's awesome biggrin sometimes being in a largely non-Christian platform is sometimes where we're called to be to reach out. I'm glad that things are going well.
