I rent. And the owner has two extremely friendly yet deadly dogs.
They will run up to anyone taller then them happily to greet them

BUT if a small child or another small dog or a cat ventures near them they attack and kill and eat.
The owner encourages this. She has told me how her two dogs got left if the house with a cat locked in the bedroom. They got through the door and attacked and ate the poor cat.

The owner feels her dogs are not doing any thing wrong. And if a tiny dog barks at them she feels they deserve what is going to happen to them and has even told me how she has laughed her head off when they attacked a small dog who jumped on her dogs back.

Am I the only person that thinks this is awful?
Or is there something I am missing as to why this is not horrible.

It's wrong and abusive towards other pets. Honestly a report should be made at the very least about aggressive dogs. I'd contact animal control to see what they think about it. Especially if you think it's aggressive towards children. That's how we get news articles about dogs attacking kids. @_@

Now I am assuming children because of what the owner has said. My son walks her dogs and does not allow children to get near them.

Last night my son and I were on the back porch of our duplex and all of a sudden we heard chilling noises from the owners fenced yard of a dog.
We had no clue how to tell what was happening of who to call. But then later last night I heard the neighbors in the back yard saying *I wonder where it is* Where did it go?*
Maybe someone was visiting and had a dog and put it out back. I have no clue how it would have gotten through to the big fence by itself. I can see how the owner could have gotten the dog without anyone knowing.

Calling the police the response is do you know for sure that one of the dogs next door are not just hurt. I am like well no but I believe there is another dog.
But I can not prove or say for a fact a crime was committed just what I think. That gets me no where. So now even more then before
I am worried about other pets and kids too. They can not get out of the fence cause it is way too high and fixed so they can not jump it.
So call animal control?

Oh my goodness!
I'm sure that you are terrified that one of your cats may end up getting out and venturing into that yard.
Yes, by all means, as Azure Balmung suggested, you may want to contact animal control just to see what they have to say.
Animals have rights just like people do. And it's up to us to make sure our own fur babies have a safe environment to thrive in.

I do not worry about them getting in that area unless one of the people living there urged them in. It is pretty high wooden fencing.
But I do think the dogs could see the cat in the yard and break though the diving gate between the two places.
I really am more concerned about what happened behind that fence then about my cats right now. It troubles me that someone could have ignored that high pitched dog scream.

You're right. I feel like there was definitely no way that someone didn't hear what was going on. The owners of the vicious dogs turned a blind eye to the whole situation by the way you described their actions in your earlier post.
I hate to hear of animals being injured and or mistreated. It is quite unnerving and sad.

Whether or not animal control finds violations or anything doesn't matter. As long as there's record on the dog and something (god forbid) happens, at least there was a warning put in.
