Ichigo could smell the blood on the little pup and heard her stomach growl. When she looked up at him, he felt bad for her and placed his fish down, nosing it to her, and letting out a gentle little noise that sounded like something between a roar and chirp. They were watching this, and both wondered exactly what he had found. Alastair got up and walked over to where Ichigo and the little one where, while Alina tended to the fish as it cooked. "Ichgo, what's up buddy, you making a new friend over here or something." he said noticing he had nosed the fish to someone, that's when he noticed the pair of eyes staring back at Ichigo and they looked so sad. "Hey there, it's ok for you to come out. We won't hurt you i promise." Alastair said calmly, getting ground level on one knee and holding a hand out.

Ichigo watched her eat, before quickly finishing off the rest of the fish. When Kurasa came out, and he saw her injured leg, he gave a worried little noise and looked over at Alistair, who just stayed where he was and watched them. Alastair could tell, she was too small to be on her own, and judging by the state of her, she must've been doing her best to survive or was running from something. Ichigo let out another concerned noise, before going to Kurasa and gently nudging her in the direction of Alastair, trying to let her know it was ok to go to him. "It's ok, little one. I won't hurt you, I promise." he said, keeping his hand out, but not making any sudden moves that might scare the poor thing. Alina had turned the fish to cook on the other side, and glanced over to see what they where up to. "Alastair, Ichigo, everything ok over there?" she called out to them, get a head nod as a response in her head a well as a brief flash of what was happening.

Alastair gently pet the tiny creature, his heart going out to her seeing the fear in her eyes. He was about to say something to her, when Ichigo let out a warning cry, his head turning in the direction he could hear the hunters coming from. Quickly, and as carefully as he could, Alastair scooped up the young Kurasa and hurried back to the campsite. "Snuff the fire." was all he said, before Alina had time to question what was going on, only seeing Kurasa for a brief second, before Alastair disappeared into the tent with her. Alina quickly dosed the flames and went into the tent as well, Ichigo following behind, keeping an eye on where the hunters were coming from the whole time. Once they were all in the tent, they stay quiet, only a mental conversation happening between Alastair and Alina as he held Kurasa and explained what he guessed had happened. Alina gently pet the little one's head, wanting to say something to her, but stayed quiet until whatever threat Ichigo had heard had passed.

"Poor thing." Alina said after the hunters were gone, and the silence was broken by Ichigo's soft chirp as he nuzzled Kurasa and gently licked her head, before carefully working to get what bristles and burrs he could get from out of her fur. Alastair carefully placed her down as Alina rummaged around in her bag to find some homemade healing ointment and bandages for Kurasa's leg. "I'll go get some water to get her clean. Come on, Ichigo." Alina said, before leaving the tent and grabbing a bucket, Ichigo reluctantly following knowing she'd need help. "Don't worry, little one, you're in safe hands with us." Alastair said, as he gently pet her head. A few minutes later Alina and Ichigo had returned with two buckets of water, and the fire was reignited and used to get some of the water warm.

Ichigo soon poked his head into the tent, looking a little bigger than before, and motioned to Alastair to bring Kurasa out to Alina to get cleaned. Alastair looked at the young one and picked her up. "Don't worry little one, we won't let anyone hurt you anymore." he said as he got out of the tent with her and brought her over to Alina who was waiting with a nice warm bucket of water and a towel. Alina was a vampire/shapeshifter and Alastair was a vampire demon. They both knew some magic and such, and knew how to deal with most situations. Alina wanted to shift to help Kurasa feel better, but she knew she had to get her clean and used to them first, before doing anything like that. She took Kurasa and placed her in her lap and began to gently wipe some of the mud and dirt off her face with a warm wet towel, while Ichigo and Alastair picked out the the remaining barbs out of her fur as carefully as they could, since they had to get those out before she could actually get placed in the bucket for her bath.

Ichigo curled up around the little fox demon, licking her head a bit, while Alastair fed the fire a bit more, and Alina finished cooking their fish. "Are we going to keep her?" Alina asked Alastair after a few moments of silence while the fish finished cooking. He only nodded before speaking. "She's obviously way too young to live on her own, and I can tell we're all willing to take care of her." he said. "You think if I shift into a bigger version of her, she'll feel a bit better?" "Let's give her time to get used to us first, before doing something like that, love." The two then ate their fish in a peaceful silence
