Bio: Sheridan is the only daughter of their Queen, and because of that has been taught by the best houw to hunt and fight and battle any male she may come across that she wishes to take as a temporary mate. Sheridan has always done what she has been told, never wishing to disappoint her mother, but she has never found a male that has made her want to mate. All those around her age and even younger have always found that to be strange but what none know, and will hopefully never know, is that Sheridan hasn't always agreed with the ways of the Amazon. She has never wanted to battle for a male because if she doesn't feel anything for them she doesn't want them. She also doesn't wish to keep them as slaves until they have the children they were captured for.

It was a mixture of that and maybe for every time he finds and losses your girl another scar is added to the ones already there. Or he spends blank amount of time being tortured after every missed chance.
so maybe it's like a multi part curse. he is made to be a vampire on top of being a god already. he HAS to feed off of humans, he can't find other ways to feed. after every missed chance to save his mate (only way I can think of it right now) he spends a year or longer being tortured and is forced to bare the scars from the torture. His healing powers that he has as a god won't touch what is done to him in that time.
Ooooo. Was thinking. Hades, his uncle, is the unfortunate God that has to carry out his curse. He doesn't want to, but it's a part of what he has to do
HOWEVER
What Hades CAN do is make it so that the torture is bearable and the least amount of scarring as possible.
AND Hades can choose to heal a multitude of what wounds have been inflicted. which he would choose to do.
I also had the idea that his curse could be broken by killing the twins but hers could only be killed if she herself killed All-Mother.
