Biography:
Cody and Maya were born to slavery, their parents a maid and servant to masters but they were taken away from their mother and never were old enough to remember her face. Raised in a slave orphanage, the siblings stuck together and Cody fought to stay by his sister's side. They were a pair but one day a guard came when they were 15, and began making comments to Maya that were very unprofessional and rather disturbing. Cody told the guard to piss off and ended up taking a beating but he made sure the man never got close to his sister. They were purchased by a older woman at age 16 however, and they were skeptical at first but for the first year til the woman revealed she was unable to have her own children, her husband passed away years ago and she wanted family to pass on her home and wealth to. So she freed them on their 17th birthday and adopted them.

Cody and Maya Kenton cared for their new mother for 3 years til she passed away, which hit both of them surprisingly hard. They gave her a wonderful funeral, she was burried with her husband and they thanked her for the life she gave them. She made sure they knew how to be adults in the world, however about 2 months after their 21st birthday, Maya was kidnapped when she had gone to the store to buy groceries by a gang. She was found and rescued about a week and a half later when police discovered and stormed the gangs hideout. Reunited with her brother, she now stays at home and sees a therapist for the trauma. However now a month after her kidnapping, it seemed a neko in the gang made her, do things, with him, and she has just found out shes pregnant. The baby's father is in jail, who is unaware of such information which plans to stay that way but having no knowledge of nekos, Maya is panicing about motherhood. Cody decided he will solve the issue by purchasing a neko slave to both free and help his sister prepare for raising a neko child.
Personality:
Cody is very kind, loyal and stubborn, he loves to help others with problems and is a very easy going guy. However, hurt someone he loves or threatens them and he will not show mercy.
Maya is a bit broken, she has nightmares about the kidnapping and her general past as a slave, having been treated like a doll to be possessed. She is very jumpy and skittish, and is basically nervous about leaving the house. Shes slightly excitable about being a mother but terrified with it not being human, worried she will get something wrong.
Likes:
Cody enjoys tea, puzzles, helping others, movies with popcorn, loves snow, protecting his sister and cooking.
Maya enjoys tea, music, playing piano, a good book and movie, sweet things/deserts and baking.
Dislikes:
Cody dislikes heavy rainstorms, jerks, naps, and generally being useless.
Maya dislikes being outside alone, going into public places for long periods of time and burning whatever shes baking.
