Clue had been taking a look at the houses for a while, but the feeling of abandonment lingered over all of them. As though something bad had happened to the owners of the houses to cause them to suddenly disappear. It was an unpleasant feeling, as though something were waiting in the distance just to grab them as well.
He took the offered hand and held it. At least there was something that he could hold onto here while all of this weirdness went on. "I'd say two floor just in case. Though we would have to make sure that the second floor is sturdy enough so that it wouldn't break from underneath us as we slept." To say that was bad would be an understatement. They could be seriously injured or even die if it happened. "Though we might be able to find some materials and tools here to try and patch it up. Not sure how well that's going to work when we don't have house-building experience, but it's better than nothing." He looked at New giving him a slight smile. "I'll stick with you okay? We don't want to be separated here." Then he took another look at the surrounding houses. "Not sure if you had a particular one in mind, but if we don't find or choose one soon, it might get taken and we'll be stuck."
