It's since been two years since the release, but I figure why not post a thread about it anyway. "When Legends Rise" is the seventh full-length studio album by Godsmack, featuring a stylistic change in the bands sound. Most of the older records would be considered Nu-Metal, which frontman Sully Erna expressed an interest in shifting towards a more hard rock sound. There have been four successful singles from this release with "Unforgettable" leading at #1 on the Billboard Charts.

There were a few songs on the record I've enjoyed, but overall I dislike the album.

I have a copy of the album but haven't yet given it a full listen. I'm a big fan of the title track, though, as well as "Bulletproof" (had to let myself freak out a little when there were tabs for it in a recent issue of Guitar World) and "Unforgettable".
