Felix had been trapped and bound by a witch named Rebekah Galloway, who intended to use his power to help keep her little sister Amanda alive following a series health issues. It was something that would keep coming back, so required extended help from Felix. Though he was performing these acts against his will, he grew fond of the sisters, especially Rebekah. The two developed a friendly, yet unusual bond. He remained bound to Rebekah's will for about two years before her sister began to show no signs of the illness reappearing. Waiting another year to make sure, Rebekah then freed Felix, since she no longer needed him for that and wanted him to have his own life again. However, soon after returning home one day, she found her sister dead with Felix nearby. He immediately told her what he had done: he had killed her, since that was what was the Natural Order had intended. Feeling angry and betrayed, Rebekah began to yell at Felix and chucked a book at his head, causing him to vanish from the room in shock. He didn't understand why she was angry, her sister was just supposed to die, and all she did was prolong the inevitable.
Free for the first time in about three years, Felix has begun wandering, reflecting over that he had done, and if it had been the wrong thing to do. He wants to make amends with Rebekah, but fears she will never forgive him.
