Appearance: Kauri is a TALL girl of six foot, with a warm caramel complexion, narrow royal blue eyes, and ash blond hair down to her mid shoulderblades -- her hair is soft and feathery, framing her face and giving her a fluffy sppearance despite brushing. Her clothes are undyed linens, browns, creams, and light browns, often dressed modestly with long bell sleeves or tunics, but always with pants and soft flat leather boots. Kauri is built to take more hits than most girls might, and while a Lady, she doesn't dress up unless it is a proper event, only being the Grandchild of a Lord and Lady Holder.

History: Kauri's mother is the non-inheriting daughter to Telgar Hold, and due to this freedom often indulged in travel, a feat endorsed by her sire the Lord Holder, and then she will return weeks later. She was not known to be particularly concerned with saving herself for marriage and fibally bore a daughter by a quiet scholar on the tour of Telgar's minorholds she made. Although not wed, the child, Kauri, was born expected to be a lady of Telgar. However, her grandparents believed her sire must be forced to accept some responsibility, especially her grandmother, a strongwilled woman, and the man was delighted to take on sharing responsibility. Lauri was raised half a lady, half a scholar, and ended up discovering a dislike for being a Lady, but was not permitted by her grandmother to become a scholar. This said, when Kauri was Searched, the girl was glad to go, finding the experience something unique that also afforded a way to protect her loved ones. During the plague, Kauri continued to work as a Candidate and used her time trying to help afflicted dragons, to no success, on top of her chores. With Nothern stablizing, Kauri tends to use her time doing chores and reading, still unsure how to hold long conversations with others, as while not isolated by far, she is inclined to lean into books, preferring deep conversation to the common polite chitter that nobles are often taught to prioritize.
