Appearance: Of medium height, about 5'8", she has a lean, muscular build. Her eyes are a pale green colour, like new leaves painted in watercolor. She has pale blond eyebrows that match her long hair that she wears adorned with a variety of braids. Her skin is very pale, with freckles across her face; she does not tan, just gets more freckles.

Fashion: She loves her craft, which is tailoring, a part of the WeaverCraft. She loves to take a pre-existing garment and make it look well trimmed and downright fabulous on anybody. She does like to make her own clothing, usually in a style considered either a bit risqué or unusual, and wears it proudly. Her favorite colors are red, pink, and purple.

Personality

Positive traits:
- Creative: She seems to have endless ideas to apply to her craft. This could be redirected into problem-solving if she applied herself to a puzzling situation. She also likes to make little crafts for her siblings on special days, like namedays.
- Resourceful: Her knowledge is application-oriented, which is often then applied to an existing problem or task. This knowledge is comprehensive as well, so she knows that something can be substituted by something else. She learned this from her mother, who as a Baker knows when and how to make substitutions in a recipe.
- Empathic: Even as a young child she knew how to place herself in another's shoes. Sometimes the feeling of empathy can be very strong, so she also had to learn when to shut it off. She often makes plans, decisions, and the like, with others' feelings in mind.

Negative traits:
- Rebellious: With her clothing styles in mind, it is easy to say that she is rebellious. She will ignore rules she thinks she can bend or break because she thinks she knows better than tradition. It can make her seem troublesome, childish, or disrespectful. She does not mean to upset others, just "marches to the beat of her own drum," so to speak.
- Workaholic: Her tailoring can easily become so sought after that others would become overwhelmed. In Cynsizk's case, she simply works on her projects longer. This can lead to forgetting previous arrangements, and those who know her well know where to find her.
- Stubborn: Tied in with her rebellious streak, there are times she will stand her ground to the point of pigheadedness. This can be a good thing, as in a particularly complicated design, but in other cases she will ignore reason in favor of her being in the right.

Shared History: Six children grew up in a small hold in the Tillek region that specializes in terraced farming and baking. It was small, but it was his parents' hold, and it had been carved out of the mountain itself by their ancestors. Beholden to High Reaches Weyr, a matter of great pride to the family, the hold nevertheless was capable of only a modest tithe. In the care of the sturdy, hardworking parents named Zandesik and Cynmen, the children enjoyed a difficult but well-rounded childhood.

The eldest brother Spasek sent away for "talking too much," which deeply upset Mennick, especially when Maddeck (who was not there when it happened) rationalized that Spasek must be lazy. Cynsizk knew at the time that Spasek had indeed talked so much that he developed laryngitis and began to play his lute in earnest to fill in the "silence." He was already skilled enough to gain entry into the HarperHall, where he was treated and studied under a voice coach. He decided to stay and Master in the subject of Voice!

This left the next brother in line to inherit the Hold. An easygoing but hard-working son, Zendysk was happy take up that mantle. Cynsizk, was next in age, the eldest sister; already talented in Knitting she went off to WeaverCraftHall to expand her study to include Tailoring. She made sure that little Mennick understood that it was her choice, that she loved her family, and that she would come back home someday soon. Thus she averted, for Mennick, any damage that Maddeck's cynicism might have on her departure. Soon even they went away to study Healing. Mennick would study the mind and Maddeck would specialize in field trauma. Finally, the youngest sister, Cynchie, had decided as a little girl that she would stay home and become a Baker under their Journeywoman mother, Cynmen's tutelage. Later on when she was deemed old and skilled enough, Cynmen arranged for her transfer to Fort Weyr to study there. Mennick and Maddeck were there too, where they stood as Candidates and Impressed to their Greens. As a side note, Cynchie also became a Candidate because she loved dragons as much as her Healer brothers!

Cynsizk spent several turns at the WeaverCraftHall at Southern Boll. The climate there is much warmer than she was used to. (Now it is home that feels a little too chilly.) While she was there, she became a Tailor, a step up from knitting in that she could use several materials together when she did not know how before. She also learned which materials to, and not to, put together for various reasons.

Cynsizk's Impression would come from a visit to watch sister Cynchie Stand as a Candidate. She sat in the Stands; not against riding, just feeling that it may be a little late to expect to ride her own dragon. It's okay-- she loved her craft and didn't mind bumming off a ride from one of her siblings. But things got mucky. Cynchie had serious doubts in herself and asked that Cynsizk stand with her, and so she did. Versath did not have far to go to find his Intended.

Description: Versath's Hatchling length was 6'4'' with his height at 2'1''. For a blue he is of average build and abilities, having nothing specifically memorable about them. He has sharp lines in places that set off his sleek gunmetal-blue hide.

Personality

Positive Traits: Efficient, Protective, Astute

Negative Traits: Tactless, Selfish, Manipulative

He likes to go for the kill, so to speak, without preamble because he believes a job well done is best when quickly and proficiently executed. His movements and decisions can be snip-snip quick and he will cut away any fat he deems unnecessary be it something, idea or someone. Figuratively and sometimes even literally speaking. He will also use the same tactics to get whatever it is that he or his rider need or want.

Background

There was something about Versath from the beginning that drew Cynsizk to him. She had no idea that he had reached out to her as an egg. She always believed she was only there to support her Candidate sister, and it will always be this way. She will always say it was so. Nevertheless, he knew precisely whom he wanted and wasted no time claiming her.

In the future, Versath will choose Cynsizk's choice, even if they greatly disagree. She is his everything and vice versa, but only to an extent. She maintains her fierce independence and he maintains his awe of it. He will protect her and use every bit of his craft to help her to move forward and upward.
