Appearance: Of medium height, around 5'1" and not done growing, she has a slight build with a medium musculature. Her eyes are pale-grey in color, hair of medium length and the color of golden-brown bread. She has a pale complexion with a light pink ruddiness. Easily blushes, easily burns and does not tan.

Fashion: She likes to look very ladylike, with flowing or draping clothes that reach the floor. Her favorite colors are pink, turquoise, and purple, and prefers silky fabrics. She has been very spoiled by her elder sister, who makes what becomes her favorite clothing on special occasions.

Personality

Positive traits:
- Humorous: Cynchie is not the joke-telling sort. But she laughs a lot, and when she is not, her eyes still are. She sees humor and joy in most things, and as such is rather optimistic. There is a silver lining to everything, right?
- Kind: She is generous with her kindness, and is not one to hold a grudge. Everyone deserves to be treated the same, at least at first.
- Hard worker: No one Cynchie knows would ever call her lazy. She works hard at what she does, and gives her best efforts to whatever she is doing at the time. She will help a stranger if she thinks she can, but tries to know and work according to her limits too.

Negative traits:
- Shy: Cynchie rarely starts a conversation, unless she has come on a mission. She typically has a hard time breaking the ice with anything witty, so she waits for her chance, sometimes a little longer than what is comfortable. She tries her best not to be awkward, however.
- Condescending: She has a sense of condescension about her that is difficult to pin down. Was that a sympathetic smile, or a pitying smirk? Sometimes it is difficult to tell. One thing is certain, she came from a privileged background and sometimes she struggles to understand where others are coming from.
- Stubborn: Once she sets her mind to something, she will complete it, or give up in a fury of awkward defeat, with hair, clothes, and face a total mess. Likewise, if she has made a decision, she will not change her mind unless proven utterly wrong.

Shared History: Six children grew up in a small hold in the Tillek region that specializes in terraced farming and baking. It was small, but it was his parents' hold, and it had been carved out of the mountain itself by their ancestors. Beholden to High Reaches Weyr, a matter of great pride to the family, the hold nevertheless was capable of only a modest tithe. In the care of the sturdy, hardworking parents named Zandesik and Cynmen, the children enjoyed a difficult but well-rounded childhood.

The eldest brother Spasek sent away for "talking too much," which deeply upset Mennick, especially when Maddeck (who was not there when it happened) rationalized that Spasek must be lazy. Cynsizk knew at the time that Spasek had indeed talked so much that he developed laryngitis and began to play his lute in earnest to fill in the "silence." He was already skilled enough to gain entry into the HarperHall, where he was treated and studied under a voice coach. He decided to stay and Master in the subject of Voice!

This left the next brother in line to inherit the Hold. An easygoing but hard-working son, Zendysk was happy take up that mantle. Cynsizk, was next in age, the eldest sister; already talented in Knitting she went off to WeaverCraftHall to expand her study to include Tailoring. She made sure that little Mennick understood that it was her choice, that she loved her family, and that she would come back home someday soon. Thus she averted, for Mennick, any damage that Maddeck's cynicism might have on her departure. Soon even they went away to study Healing. Mennick would study the mind and Maddeck would specialize in field trauma. Finally, the youngest sister, Cynchie, had decided as a little girl that she would stay home and become a Baker under their Journeywoman mother, Cynmen's tutelage. Later on when she was deemed old and skilled enough, Cynmen arranged for her transfer to Fort Weyr to study there. Mennick and Maddeck were there too, where they stood as Candidates and Impressed to their Greens. As a side note, Cynchie also became a Candidate because she loved dragons as much as her Healer brothers!

Cynchie is several years younger than even her youngest siblings. She was treated as a fragile person, protected from the outside world. This was probably unintentional, but everything outside of their home was for the most part unknown to Cynchie. She has visited Tillek and the docks there, the bustle of business and market, but otherwise she is quite sheltered.

She came to Fort Weyr after the plague decimated the dragon population. She felt none of the grief and fear that others felt. But she wanted to know what Weyr life was like. It seemed like a better place to fit in with than in Tillek with and make her way in the world as a Baker. She did not choose to become a Candidate for some lofty ideals, she just wanted to know if she could do it. But she knew none of the difficulties and hard work that Candidates are known to do. Big wake up call for Cynchie!

Description: Chiwoth is of a medium grass-green in color with stripes in a brownish-green and lime green, reminiscent of wood rings. She is of average size and build, with nothing particularly remarkable about her strength and abilities. That said she has dogged determination and staying power, so for as long as she is doing something, she will keep the pace.

Personality:

Negative Traits: Gossip Hound, Passive, Stubborn, Harsh, Lecturing

This dragon is a very unassuming person. She may seem bland or boring on the outside, but can become inwardly quite colorful and lively. She loves nothing more than to chatter with her rider or clutchmates.

She is not a visionary and she knows it, favoring sticking with someone she knows or sees as an authority figure and letting them make the decisions. She will not question rules or orders, and will go along with them quietly. On the other hand, expect a quick, "wooden spoon swipe across the knuckles" if you're a rule breaker. She may call you out.

When working, she is very precise. If she has trouble with something she will work on it until she gets it right. She is very curious about Cynchie's pasttime of baking and loves it when Cynchie tells her about the recipe. All those wonderful numbers and measurements. She will apply this snappy precision to studies (helping Cynchie with them) and training procedures.

Background

So careful she is that even her egg split straight down the middle. She would be a no-nonsense person if she weren't such a chatty cathy. While she is still quite young she will always support Cynchie's Baking and her dreams.

In the future, if Cynchie were happy enough to stay in the shadow of other people, so would Chiwoth. What an easy life! But if she decides to move up in the ranks, Chiwoth, while not much of a leader, will support in every way she can. She will provide an organized plethora of numbers, strategy books, diagrams, and rules.

She is too busy to think about the plague and won't let Cynchie dwell upon it either. What will happen, will happen. All they can do is to move forward now and always.
