The water around him was still. He hadn't moved an inch in what felt like an hour. Needed time alone. Away from Kin, away from the one other person he had told, and away from his phone. Since the news, Yuura had...apparently been living inside his head. Should have noticed when everything felt grey, but coming out of an emotional coma that he learned to live inside for years was the hardest most terrifying thing he had ever felt. Just before, he'd had a glass of wine. News of his pregnancy be damned. It wasn't a baby, it had to be a lie. A monster. A curse. Yuura felt he was beginning to show a bit early, a bit too much to hide. His hands were upon his stomach, feeling how bloated he must look, after having only found out a little over three weeks ago.
Closing his eyes, he sought relief from the tunnel vision, though it was hard to find, having run off with his ability to breathe, "It's a nightmare." He whispered softly. The noise around him startled him, as if the voices hadn't been there at all. A public pool, in the middle of the day. The water wasn't still. The only place he could hide himself where he got some relief from the painful swelling, "It isn't real." A mantra from the suicide. From the nightmares that soon followed. If there was one man who knew his pain, it must have been his father, but... Well, he had found a way out. A way that Yuura... His eyes stayed down, atop the water as it began to draw closer beneath him. The cold swallowed his shoulders, and up his neck. He would need a second opinion about all of this. There had to be some sort of...other way.
Tying up his hair, and changing into something dry and baggy, Yuura would check his phone. He had kept the number the same as his father's had been, in hopes that his mother might call. She didn't. Didn't reach out to him through social media, either. He caught sight of his own eyes in the reflection on the screen and wiped away the tears he hadn't even known he'd been crying. Another message from Gabriel... That man... Yuura could clearly remember how worried Kin seemed to be when they'd started seeing each other. How Yuura would come home drunk at eighteen. Back when he'd stopped believing in happy endings. He ran his thumb over the locked screen, over his name. Gabriel had been the first man Yuura slept with after Luka, and had been the most steady, most reliable, most dependable.. Married... Not married now.
"Hey! What are you doing here?"
Green eyes fell on charcoal, gasping as he dropped his phone. Nazare jumped after it, saving it from the pavement of the locker room.
"s**t, sorry." He rubbed his elbow, hardly a scratch on him from his tumble to save the glass phone, "You swim?"
"...what are you doing here?"
"Vell and I came for a date. It's our anniversary."
"Oh." Yuura dropped his gaze. Rather pathetic place for an anniversary, but he wouldn't speak.
Naza just smiled at the pink-haired boy, eyes glancing over him, hoping to go unnoticed, though green eyes caught him, "Yeah, ten years together. Was it ten? And three married."
"Married?" He was clutching his clothing around him, glancing between Naza and Vell, noting that they did have rings, he had just never noticed, "...congratulations. I should probably get home. I-"
"You're already out. Why don't we all take a swim?"
"I'm sorry, no thanks. I just got dry."
Naza frowned, "I see. Well then, have a good night. Don't...do anything you might regret in the morning, eh?"
He narrowed his green eyes, looking into black, "..excuse me?"
"You seem upset. Hate to know you were thinking of doing something rash, and-"
"Don't presume to know me. Mind your own business."
