▷ Alicante is the home city of the Nephilim. It is the capital and only city of Idris. The city is surrounded by towers that look like glass, called the demon towers, which serve as wards that protect it from demon invasions. The wards were also updated to block out anyone with a Circle rune. It also alerts the Clave of Downworlders passing through it.
Alicante also has a prison called the Gard, the Accords Hall, and a cemetery for disgraced Shadowhunters not interred or burned for the City of Bones.
