Bakura was pulling into the driveway having just returned home from the weekly trip to the grocery store. He grabbed what bags he could after parking and turning the car off and made his way to the house. He could hear Gypsy whining as he approached the door and unlocked it. "All right girl, daddy's home." he said as he walked in the door and placed the bags on the floor before going get the rest. Only after all the bags were in the house, did he go to Gypsy's kennel and let her out. He picked her up and kissed her head before snuggling her for a moment. Then he had to put her down to bring the bags in the kitchen and put everything away.

Bakura watched her play for a bit, praising her when she did her business outside. Then his phone when off, so he went in the house to answer it, leaving Gypsy to play in the backyard. It was fenced in so he didn't need to worry about her trying to get out. It was a text from his girlfriend, Alina. She was texting to see if he could come over and get her and their son for a few days. Some family had come home for a bit and it was getting a bit too crowded at her house for her liking. After texting her that he'd be on his way, he put his phone away and grabbed Gypsy's leash. "Gypsy, who wants to go for a car ride?" he asked walking to the back door and showing her the leash. This would be only her second or so car ride since he adopted her.

Once Gypsy was in the car and secure, Bakura took her leash off and placed it on the seat with her. Then he got in the driver's side and turned the car on, lowering the volume before he did so however, "We're going to have some company for a few days ok girl?" he said patting her head before backing out of his driveway. Luckily, Alina's house wasn't that far a drive away, so it didn't take Bakura long to get to her house. Once he pulled into her driveway, he sent her a text to let her know he was there and then, hooked Gypsy's leash onto her collar, before helping her out of the car. "Ok, you have to be good ok." he told her as he walked with her to the house. He knocked on the door and her brother answered and let him in looking at Gypsy and letting her sniff his hand.

Alina had just finished packing when she had got the text. She was glad that Alex was sleeping in his little seat as it made leaving the house a little easier. She got her brother to carry her bags to the car after he came up to let her know that Bakura was there, then she got Alex's diaper bag and carefully picked him up in her arms and made her way downstairs. When she got downstairs she kissed Bakura and her eyes then fell on Gypsy. "Aww how precious." she said, unable to pet her at the moment due to her holding Alex.

Once they got home, Bakura got Alina's bags out of the trunk and let Gypsy in the house, taking her leash off once she was inside and bringing Alina's bags to his room. He then brought the one or two bags for Alex and the diaper bag in the room next to his. That room had been prepared for the baby in the moths leading up to his arrival, but Alina's mother felt that it was best for Alina and Alex to stay with her for a while.

While Bakura was bringing in the bags, Alina focused on getting Alex out of his seat when he started to stir. "Looks like someone's waking up." she said as she carefully picked him up and then saw Gypsy. "Let's go inside girl, you'll get a better look at him in there." she said walking into the house with Alex in her arms and sitting on the sofa in the living room. Bakura soon joined her and Gypsy in the living room once he locked the car and closed the house door.

Alina and Bakura watched Alex and Gypsy interact and both smiled seeing how well she was around the baby. When he grabbed at her nose and she yelped however Alina had to try and calm Alex down while Bakura went over to Gypsy when she went over to her bed thinking she was in trouble. "It's ok girl, you just scared him. You didn't do anything wrong." he said as he gently pet her head. "It's ok, Gypsy." Alina said as she gently rocked Alex.

Bakura picked up Gypsy and snuggled her as he walked back to the sofa with her. "It's ok, sweetie. He's just a baby like you, but he doesn't understand what it means to have to be gentle yet." he said sitting down next to Alina and Alex and gently petting Gypsy as he sat her in his lap and turned on the tv. Alina continued to gently rock Alex, giving him his pacifier, that had been clipped to his little onesie.

Alina and Bakura just relaxed with their two babies and watched tv, eventually turning the channel to the cooking channel. Bakura put his arm around Alina and looked at her and his son for a moment, a smile on his face. He had to admit it was kinda lonely when she wasn't around and hence why he sorta adopted Gypsy. Though they were in the process of trying to convince her mother to let her and Alex move in with Bakura permanently, having them over every so often wasn't that bad and seem to be convincing her little by little.

Alina looked at him and smiled before placing a gentle kiss on his lips. They both smiled and she laid her head on his shoulder as she held Alex. Bakura was gently petting Gypsy's head and even rubbed her belly a little.
