Of all the places he had to be, it was the middle of nowhere in the plains.
If one were to stand amongst the tall grass, they would see a little yellow pompom bobble just above the grass, weaving this way and that. It would stop on occasion and then circle back around only to end up where it started again.
“KU-POOO”
Dande reared up on his hind legs to see above the grass, his cheerful face falling to a frown as he saw that he was no where closer to… anything really.
“HELLLOOOOOO!?”
His voice carried just a bit but not far enough and with an annoyed huff he plopped back into the grass to start weaving his way again through the greenery. He’d find someone, or something, eventually. He just had to not get lost…

Morpheus had been wandering about aimlessly for days. He didn't really have a plan when he set out from his home, just to go on an adventure for a while and eventually return home when he felt he'd done enough exploring to last himself for a bit. It was this wanderlust that drove him to the middle of the plains where he had been wandering for the past day or so.
During his journey, he'd come across a few kittens and even a fallen wish dragon and had swapped stories and information before continuing on their own paths. Since arriving in the plains though, Morpheus had been alone, not another soul in sight and the quiet gave him a lot of time to think and reflect on things. In fact, he was so deep in thought that he couldn't hear the voice of another kitten nor the rustling he was making as he traveled through the grass up ahead. So it was with a start that Morpheus bumped right into the other male and let out a startled yowl, jumping backward with his fur bristling up.
A few brief seconds passed by and Morpheus realized the situation, his fur smoothed back down and he sighed with relief. "Sorry about that, I didn't realize there was anyone else out here. Are you ok?"

The Sacred temple had become crowded as of late and all the noise was giving the goddess a headache. Bowing her way out of her group of ladies, Goddess Bastet exited the temple and looked towards the skies. Stretching her heavily decorated wings, she took to the air and headed away from home. It was true that she was one for the company of others, but there were times she needed to be alone. Feeling the wind against her face, Bast headed away from the Angelic home lands. It wasn't long before she passed the boarders and into the Plains. Home to the Moogle stars and one of her many siblings. She wondered how the dear was doing... Well that is until something else reaching her ears.
Something keeled upon the winds and caused the Goddess to stop and hover in the air for a moment. Ears twitching Bast headed towards the ground to try and find the source of the cry. Was someone lost out here?
