so i really would like a more open and honest answer on who has a discord and willing to be active on it
i have a discord [god n1t30wl xiii ssc]
my mule of course does not [god of ssc]
i believe the captain has one {lliest}
not sure if the captain has a mule in here but most likely would not have a second discord
my cousin dont have a discord /casper the friendly god/ but may get one soon
my cousins mule dont have one obviously
so i think that first we need to find out who has a discord versus not having a discord then post your gaia user name or names up in either here or a separate thread to determine how useful a discord will be
after all if the only two turned out to be me and the captain well that would be a total and complete waste of time but if its found out that lets say 50 users had a discord then it would be totally worth it
i would also like to explore who has a kik account too.my cousin has a kik, i have a kik acct and im sure others in here have one too but again if its only me and my cousin with kik accts then totally not worth it. and theres one other problem with kik and that is your limited to 50 accts per room where as on discord your not limited
so lets find out what everyone has. a discord / kik / or both and if you have an alternate text or chat service list that too just in case

i have it but i reserve it for personal use with close friends or gaming friends. maybe we could merge w/ another group's discord or something who has similar interests? idk. i've seen a lot of people doing that lately. also should probably link forum discussions in the announcements so that the lazier people could just click instead of going through the extra steps of clicking through the forums. people don't like to put in effort for much, esp around here

i'm not really understanding the goal here? i don't mean to be a downer but
we've been a pretty inactive guild so wouldn't the discord be equally inactive. i
feel like joining a community relative to your interests would be much more
fulfilling if you need a community to join (i recommend anime-specific ones or
gaming ones).

junebi i'm not really understanding the goal here? i don't mean to be a downer but we've been a pretty inactive guild so wouldn't the discord be equally inactive. i feel like joining a community relative to your interests would be much more fulfilling if you need a community to join (i recommend anime-specific ones or gaming ones). im quoting the captain so he can explain it better just in case i have failed the goal and maybe im wrong here is to get an offsite chat room so we can chat off of gaia and even though we can reuse a room maybe its best to start over plus its always good to be able to chat with a friend or other person if you dont want to be on gaia casper tried to help but maybe he confused people more. i really think though the captain wants a discord room to try to bring people together and to be more active and also to chat without having to be on gaia and if im wrong then he can say bad niteowl your wrong this is what i really want then tell us ok. still want any feedback you have
