 - - - Living Room / Studio (Shown)Like other working class homes in the surrounding area, the living room features the barest luxuries qualifying it as such: An OLED television, redwood table, loveseat, and couch occupy the central portion of the room. Towards the back, a twin bed sandwiched by two redwood end tables provides sleeping space for one individual, while a dresser not far from the bed stores the occupant's clothes. Judging from the furniture's mismatch with the navy-blue carpet, one might conclude the dweller has little income, no interior design sense, or a combination of the two. Restroom (Not shown)Past the western door, a basic sink, shower, and shitter are present. A medicine cabinet containing the occupant's anti-depressants, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razor heads sits above the sink. No fewer than three rolls of TP are present in the restroom, and the room itself is kept spotless by its sole user.

"Not a bad place." He said aloud to himself as he shifted in. No key needed. No need to break in. When you could turn into smoke, any place that wasn't absolutely airtight was easy to wriggle your way into.
His eyes scanned the area. Oh, his dear Agent wasn't home yet, it seemed. That meant time to explore! There was a bit of childlike excitement in his stride. Something was fun about violating the very space that people retired to. Houses, homes. They showed how people were when they weren't in public, and as he expected, this police man was fairly clean. Organized. He really wanted to mess up the order of some things and hide somewhere so he could see the guy panic, but deciding against it since Roland was his 'friend' regardless of that man's own decision.
He took the time to waltz about, looking and taking in everything. Such a tiny bed! Did he ever have women over, jeez? And this bathroom was so...lame looking. This guy had no sense of what a good design was. Saitou's own bachelor pad was thoroughly decorated to fit his own wants. Plus, the pretty decorations usually distracted his invites from noticing what he slipped in their drinks. Tsk tsk. Luckily for Agent Baker, Saitou had no intent to poison him.
Instead, he turned on that stove and began brewing some tea that he brought with him. Peppermint was one of his favorites, honestly. Passing the time, he sipped on that tea with his feet up on the table, scrolling through tv channels, finally settling on some murder mystery or whatever.

 Roland Baker
- - - - - - - - A small chunk of ice shattered into multiple shards as a black sedan rolled over one awful stretch of icy road. This time, FBI Agent Baker sat in the driver seat, not a chauffeur, and only dread could describe his feelings for the drive. This particular car had snow tires installed, but even they struggled to adhere against the pavement, and the local forecast suggested icy roads throughout the day, if not the week. But, it was not today’s weather which kept Roland uneasy; yesterday’s incident with “Smokey” resulted in a flurry of phone calls, a visit by the local detective, and a sit-down meeting with an SSBI agent. The conclusion of that meeting, along with an authorized peek at a Top Secret file, was not to be forgotten anytime soon by the agent. - - - Flashback”Agent Baker, how familiar are you with what society calls the ‘Occult?’ Of magic?”
”Casually, but I imagine some elements of popular lore have a sliver of truth,” Roland’s low voice responded, confusion present in its tone. The Agent looked up from the tabletop: His interrogator, Investigator Muller, did not even make eye contact. A nearby sentry watched both men like a hawk. Roland closed his eyes, his thin lips barely moving. ”I am aware of the serious nature of today’s incident and must apologize. I have already seized the footage-“
”Agent Baker,” Muller raised a veiny palm, fingers splayed apart. Tucked underneath his free arm ”You have done your part given the circumstances; this is not a disciplinary meeting, but rather a knowledge transfer. We’ll need you to sign an NDA and other documents as usual, then we will leave for the Skiff.”- - - The black sedan slowly made a right turn onto the driveway feeding into Roland’s home, a tract house identical to its neighbors in character and material. Leasing for six hundred dollars per month, the Agent secured a mundane home in an insipid neighborhood. Across the street, a nondescript man bundled in a heavy jacket was busy shoveling snow aside from his driveway. Through the alcove windows, a sick-looking boy layered underneath blankets appeared to be napping before the TV in the living room, his clammy skin and aching body showing signs of the flu. Beyond Roland’s immediate surroundings and those of the family, the street was ominously quiet: No doubt, countless kids were staying home during the winter break while their parents were telecommuting or holing up elsewhere downtown for their shifts. Stepping from his car, Roland locked the door behind him and shuffled towards the front door leading into his living room, key in hand. I need some rest, he thought, inserting and twisting the key when he stopped: Did he leave the television on? No. If he did, the TV’s settings were configured so it would shut off after 10 AM to save power. This left one terrible feeling in his stomach as Roland turned the doorknob and pushed the door open: Someone was inside. Hopefully, it was just a squatter looking for room and board… Or maybe not. Agent Baker’s jaw dropped open as he saw “Smokey” plopped in his couch, watching some program on TLC or whatever describing the details of a murder case. ”WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?”- - - Mood: Tired | Apprehensive | Shocked Company: "Smokey" Outfit: Black leather shoes & matching slacks, white tucked-in dress shirt Armaments: None

It was funny enough how relaxed he was on somebody else's property. Arms up behind his head as he leaned back, feet propped up on that wooden coffee table and casually sipping on some tea from the habitant's cupboard. Doing his best to distract himself from the shoddy craftsmanship that was this interior design with the television, Saitou's mind wondered just how long he would have to wait for his favorite Agent to come home. Were FBI men on actual schedules?
Maybe he had wrecked his car in all this frigid temperature and was dead somewhere. Now that would've been funny! But eventually he did hear the sounds of of a car approach. Finally. 'Took you long enough, old man. I made three whole cups of tea.' He thought to himself, not even bothering to move a muscle. Why would he, after all? Saitou had one hell of a time after he had gotten a hold of those drugs. Most of the time was spent flirting with a girl or some s**t, but in addition to that, he had tested the 'Mad Dog'. That seemed to be a better working name than 'Terror T', right? Ha.
Eventually the jingle of keys caught his attention, and the moment that old, tired man stepped into his own house, Saitou raised his arms as if welcoming an old friend. It was just that moment that the television was playing an entire recollection of a case where a husband accidentally killed his wife and froze her to stick her through a tree cutter. Wild, right? How messy! "I'm watching murder dramas!" Called out the teenager, putting down his cup of peppermint tea. "How was your day old man?" He relaxed, just as casual as ever. It was hard to strike some fear into him. Things like that were written out of him by now. For the most part, anyway.
"Oh by the way man, we gotta fire your interior designer. Sheesh! What is this color coordination. Who the ******** are you banging in a tiny bed like that?" He got up, putting on another pot of boiling water. "You like peppermint tea?"
If he could keep this Baker guy wrapped around his tanned little fingers, he could probably get away with quite a bit under the radar. Intimidation, breaking people's piece of mind always worked better in the long run than breaking their bodies. That reminded him, he had to do something about that spike in heart activity from the Mad Dog. His last few subjects didn't survive the night with it flowing through them. No matter, he'd figure it out in a bit after his tea party.

 Roland Baker
- - - - - - - - For a long moment, the only noise in the apartment besides the TV was the solid door creaking behind Roland, closing under the pressure differential. No, this had to be a nightmare... Except, Roland was no lucid dreamer, and he disdainfully recognized that juvenile voice. His dark eyes hardened. "'Smokey,' isn't it? You're either the bravest son of a b***h or the dumbest junkie ever to find my home. No- make that breaking and entry, but I assume you already know that." Undoing the remaining button on his winter coat, Roland casually tossed the heavy garment aside to the floor. Now he was unmistakably the same officer who discovered Smokey that disturbing day, down to the dress shirt and slacks worn on his person. Well, Roland's service pistol was with an FBI-affiliated gunsmith undergoing maintenance, and there was not a single pistol available that day, so he was without his weapon. Again. However, judging from Roland’s height, musculature, and stance, one might conclude he was ready to pounce with the skill of a former US Infantryman befitting his physique. For now, Roland chose to ignore Smokey's remarks regarding the state of his apartment. Now was not the time to mention the pain in the a** it was to lug a king-sized bed frame when his twin would do. And, so what if Roland’s warm-hued oriental rug did not match the navy blue carpet? Admittedly, a bulging vein on his mid-neck did break Roland’s otherwise composed expression; whether it bulged naturally or due to rage was likely indeterminate. ”Why does my damn personal space matter to you? Like I’ve said before, kid: You have guts to try this s**t again. On my own turf nonetheless.” Roland’s eyes tracked Smokey’s every movement to the kitchenette and back. Two feet closer to the man, and Agent Baker would have already tackled his assailant to the ground, peppermint tea be damned. That moment had passed, but now there was an opening to Roland’s near-right, one which could take Baker closer to cover behind the loveseat at the expense of losing his sole exit. ”Now do tell me: Why did you come here?”- - - Mood: Flabbergasted | Frustrated Company: "Smokey" Outfit: Black leather shoes & matching slacks, white tucked-in dress shirt Armaments: None

Humming as he started up that additional pot of tea, Smokey was completely and utterly unbothered by the adult's barking out of probably fear and frustration. He was jigging to some song in his head, finally pouring himself a cup before swiveling around to face the stressed, black haired agent. If nothing else, it seemed like the guy was going to pop a damn blood vessel at this rate. He opened the same cupboard that he had done many times already, pouring in some sugar before gently returning the bag of the sweetener back into the cabinet. Seemed he was rather neat for someone 'breaking' into a house.
"But I didn't break anything." He didn't right? He made sure that he was behaving. For now, at least. Should agent Buddy escalate things, Saitou would have no problem leaving the man to writhe in a pool of his own blood. But...psychological warfare was what made things roll. He had done it plenty of times. Didn't get his mob boss status by simply killing, no. At heart, he was a businessman.
Sauntering back over to the couch, Saitou's form sat down, taking out his phone and sending a quick message over to a few of his buddies. Oh yeah, he had put eyes on his new favorite agent. The mob had eyes everywhere. "Oh? But don't you remember, Agent Baker? We're friends. And I told you we'd stay in touch." There was just the cutest little smile on that face as it looked Baker's form up and down. He was quite athletically built, wasn't he? Although he was pretty damn sure that trying to bed your FBI agent friend might put a damper in the psychological warfare process, so he decided against flirting. Plus, he was basically grandpa age!
"Are you itching to fight? It sure looks like it from your body language...Hm. Anyway. My true purpose here is a proposition. An offer." He leaned forward on the couch, hands between his legs like some sort of little kid. Although the tone of his voice highly contrasted that. "You arrest people, yes? Isn't that routine boring? And those perps just keep getting out and reeking more havok, time after time. I'm offering a solution. It'll be helpful to you guys and cut down on your paperwork quite a bit, I'd say. Those high profile perps, I want them." His smirk was low, dangerous. Who knew what this kid was planning? Either way, the offer was out there. And should he not take it now, Saitou had plans to tear and chip at this man's peace of mind until either he couldn't take it or gave in. Either way, this was going to be fun for him. One could only pity the Agent who had showed up to the wrong place at the wrong smoky time.

 Roland Baker
- - - - - - - - "Don't play coy with me, kid. You are trespassing on my property, drinking my tea, and lounging on MY couch!" Roland spat, circling around Smokey's couchbound path until he stopped in front of the prep area just as Smokey retook "his" seat. The off-duty Investigator clenched his fist, taking a step onto the living room’s navy-blue carpet. A pump-action hunting shotgun would be a better fit for this situation, but alas. Even with a shotgun, would the FBI agent be able to take this punk’s life when he could (somehow) dissipate into a smoke cloud? Just what was that particular haze he had observed in the hospital, if not chemical vapors? Roland scowled, watching as “Smokey” typed something on his mobile device. Smoke or not, at least the punk’s cellular metadata would be available to law enforcement if needed. ”Friends? Friends? Wipe that smile off your face, kid, and give up the child act. You already have an open rap sheet on file, and the next cop who matches you to the description will see to your arrest.” Roland stepped closer to the couch, tilting his head as his eyes bore upon the disturbingly comfortable teenager on his crash couch. The older man snorted, cracking his index finger once he stood no closer than five feet from the couch. ”Itching to fight? It would be a damn shame if it comes down to that, but I will say: Letting you escape the hospital was a grave miscalculation on my part. The FBI, contrary to what you might think, does not collaborate nor negotiate with criminals or their enterprises. Now, do as I order: Get off the couch and lie on your chest. You are under arrest for trespassing and assaulting a Federal agent. You have the right to remain silent, and anything you say can and will be used against you. You also have the right to consult with your attorney. If you are unable to afford an attorney, a court-appointed public defender will be provided for you.” Agent Baker’s curled fingers formed proper fists, his toned arms ready to react and protect his face against a possible lunge from the couch... and perhaps grapple this fool to the ground, depending on whether he chose to give himself up. - - - Mood: Pissed | Alert Company: "Smokey" Outfit: Black leather shoes & matching slacks, white tucked-in dress shirt Armaments: None

I'm aiming to continue, so consider me a threat."
"Actually, I brought this tea with me." Was the only response from the boy, who finished the cup before stretching his arms up. What to do, what to do? It was clear this wasn't going to go exactly the way he had wanted. Mr. Baker was so aligned to his job. Their vows or something like that. Of course, he wasn't much different. His own gang...his own mob had their own rules. And as the kid who had taken over at an age much too young to be anything but loyal, Saitou had his own set of vows he'd made. Luckily, there was nothing yet pinning him to anything larger than just some dumb perp kid who stuck his nose in places where he didn't belong. To the world right now, he was just a drug addicted teenager doing jobs for people who were taking advantage of him, right? Seemed like a pretty good pass.
Lulling it over in his mind, Saitou whistled, thinking out loud, yet a mumble. "Six months for trespassing...Around a year if I pay the fine for the assault. Though I have no record...hmm..Maybe I could get off with that bail but yeesh..my pockets." It was almost like he was considering listening to the agent barking at him right now. It was almost hopeful. Sure, the mob could get him out without any issue, but why would he want to go through that already? Plus, jail was really boring. He said a few things lowly under his breath. Words that were Eastern. Japanese. A few curses, but distinct enough to tell the language, at least.
Those piercing gray eyes met the form of the agent once more. "I wanna smoke you." he stated bluntly. Perhaps it could come off as sexual for those who knew nothing of him. His tone didn't help one think any different. But the real meaning behind those words were in Saitou's penetrative looks. At the end of the day he was still a kid. And kids hated not getting what they wanted. Things would be so much easier if people just gave into his demands. So many less bodies would be piling up around his place, too. "I wanna smoke you so bad..." He repeated, finally standing to his feet and eyeing the other man trying to order him around. Who did he think he was? Some government dog trying to tell a free spirit like HIM to obey? That smug little grin could only grow as he took a step forward. They were within arms reach now, at least.
"I think I might even kiss you." What did that mean? Of course Saitou was confusing, but making a move like that..it was only confusing to those who didn't know anything of him. But one did not reach power by simple words. Words and action combined were what made things roll. "I'll leave you alone for a bit, Baker. You need some time to rest your head, don't you? As I said, I don't wanna hurt you. So cut your cop s**t and move so I can go get some sashimi. You may be older, But there's nothing a dog like you can do to hurt me. So I'll pave my way without your help, since you're so keen on not giving it." He said, standing basically face to face with the man now. Aggression was little from him, but the tension between these opposing forces was there and strong. Saitou wasn't going to lay a finger on him, yet he seemed to be content with walking close to the combat vet in the first place.
