As all is quiet in Vale. In the military base however, it is not. There are 3 scientists working. It was late, however, they had a deadline. They pushed through their remake of an aura transferring device. They were at the last steps, the testing phase. They placed a girl in a coma in the machine, hoping to get her awake by putting her in a robotic body. They placed the frame inside, and flipped the switch. At first, nothing happened, then a wave of energy burst forth from the machine. It pulsed around them over and over again, before bursting forth, covering all of Vale.
The students in Beacon would feel a sense that they were not alone, as someone else's aura penetrated their bodies. For some, it would leave a feeling of how the person that had been forced into their body, but at the same time, something seemed to be missing from them. When the first students awoke, they noticed that they were not the same.

As night fell, a surge of energy rippled along their bodies. For most, they felt more like themselves than they had all day, the effects of the semblance's fading. However, for some, the shock of it was too much. Their eyes rolled into the back of their heads, and stopped everything that they were doing. Their breathing became slow. They were not dead, but in a coma.
