I've been crocheting my whole life, I actually make a good income doing crochet.
Do you sell online, or at craft fairs, or... well, other? I haven't gone for awhile at this point, but for a few years I was going to the local art walk every month. I think the most I pulled in was just shy of $200, so... yeah, not a "make a living" kind of haul. I've wondered whether it's just the crowd that attends there doesn't generally have lots of spending money, and maybe I should try in a more upscale region, but I hesitate. I wouldn't want to pay a vendor fee of $40, $50 or more, schlep all the way out to wherever, fighting traffic the whole way, go to the trouble of setting up and spending hours trying not to look bored, then doing it all in reverse, only to make a tiny profit -- or none at all. What's your secret (promise, I won't tell a soul!)?
