Hobbies:
People Watching - Arcturus likes to find a spot in public areas, or semi-public areas, and watch the 'locals.' He will sit for hours, having a drink, or a snack, silently observing them. It's a practical hobby, it gives him the chance to study potential targets for his favorite games, and find their weaknesses, learn how best to approach them.

Collecting Things of Value - Wealth is his birth right, wealth is his to use. And use it he does. He collects art, things of beauty, things of value, to keep around him, and decorates his primary living space with them. Any place he calls 'his' is well appointed, but his treasures go in his primary home... a place few, if any, ever see.

Little Games - His favorite hobby is his... little games. People are the pawns and playthings, and the game is to see how much he can use them, get out of them... And then how easily he can break them, and watch them fall apart. And his very favorite version of these little games are always aboe him convincing his victim they're in love with each other, getting them emotionally dependent on him, and leaving them in the most painful way he can.

Virtues:
Determined -- Arcturus learned from an early age, that what he wanted was his to take... But sometimes others would try to prevent him, and it was his responsibility to fix that problem. Once he chooses to go after someone, or something, he will do just about anything to get them/it, as long as it does not compromise his standards. If it would... His next move is to find a way to fix that problem. Is the beautiful, rare object he wants in a dirty little shithole of a shop? He'll manipulate one of the people he was currently toying with to go be a messenger, and bring it to him... That sort of thing.

Intelligent -- He is not at all stupid. He learns quickly, always had decent grades, and can put the details of a situation together quickly. In addition, he is in no way mentally lazy. He can't afford the risk of exposing his games too early that might come from being mentally lazy. Instead, he focuses his intellect on his goals. For instance, even though he didn't NEED a degree, with his family's money, he realized he could use a Psychology degree to help him further his fun, by understanding more about how people tick.

Flaws:
Self Obsessed -- The only thing in the world that matters to Arcturus is Arcturus. His needs, his wants, his pleasures... They are the reason he exists, and as far as he is concerned, they are the reason everything else exists too. If someone is preventing him from getting what he wants, he feels no shame in going to some effort to destroy them... Public humiliation, political scandal, or much worse, if it gets him what he wants... He'll do it. The problem is he is human... and CAN get caught, obviously. When he does, the backlash tends to make him flee the situation, flee the issue to attempt to save his skin... And he can't go back, and try again. It infuriates him, losing whatever it is he was after... And he will obsess over his failure. It often means he can't go places he had, before, too, because he might have to acknowledge his failure, and what he did.

Vicious -- While he hides it very well, most of the time, this man is vicious. He loves to see other people in pain. Preventing someone from acquiring a pretty treasure that they'd had their heart set on makes any treasure he gains all the more delicious. Getting someone to fall for him, getting what he wanted from them, and then breaking their heart, and if he can, their mind into pieces is the end goal of any 'relationship' Arcturus gets himself into. If he had to fight, which he really is not fond of, he would do his best to make the other person hurt as much as possible. He wouldn't want them to die, oh no... He wants them to live... Live in pain, with the knowledge that he was out there and could do it again. Conversely, this means he makes enemies, some of whom feel they have nothing to lose when it comes to a chance at revenge, and they ARE out there, waiting.


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Red, almond-ish

Hair: Long, black and red streaked hair. Most of it is pulled back into a ponytail, but he keeps two framing locks loose.

Face: Oval, no freckles, average ears. His nose is aquiline

Clothes:
He wears a black top hat, with a red hatband, on his head. He often has a silver monocle on one eye. His pants are red with black pinstripes, and he wears a semi old fashioned but elegant long tailed coat, in matching pattern. The shirt under his jacket, should any bits peek out, would be a matching red. He has a dark red jabot at his neck. He wears black shoes with spats, and carries a black cane with a carved silver head, no curved handle.
