A lot of us either haven't found or made the right thread to talk in yet and/or haven't introduced ourselves and talked together! Let's fix that and chat to our heart's content! I'll start us off...
What's everyone done for fun today? Did you get anything accomplished or had a nice laid back day? Got plans for the week/weekend?

I finally got approved for health insurance again. Highlight of my week right there haha.

I had work today at the animal control shelter! A pretty normal day - 3 rounds of walks for each puppo, stuffing some kongs, lots and lots of cleaning and sanitizing, and a nice 30-minute nap on my lunch break at the nearby arboretum.

I'm a little late to respond, but that's awesome! I'm glad being busy and having company over was fun for you. How are you doing now? ^-^
Yay! Congrats! I know what kind of stress going through getting approved/getting healthcare and health insurance is like. It's almost always a nightmare. I'm glad you're approved! No more anxiety on that, woo!
That sounds like a blast. I used to volunteer at the ASPCA near me but kept falling in love with every puppo and kitty that was affectionate towards me and started to end up stressing me out/depressing me that I couldn't take in the sweet pet that was loving on me. xD
I have a volunteer job at the library now. It's great because for the next two weeks I get to work with the kid's program. After that, I'll be doing regular library work. I never really appreciated libraries until I was shown how you reshelve & organize DVDs. Those librarians are TOUGH! It's CHAOS to reorganize the DVDs & books! So much work to organize ONE cart. They are troopers and unsung literary heroes of the community, LOL.

Sounds fun! I've been trying to stay chill and play relaxing games like Sims 3 & 4 as well as Maplestory and Harvest Moon/Animal Crossing games. ^^
I'm trying to become more active too. I'm really out of shape. >.<

Ah never really played the first one. I sort of liked MapleStory 2 but I stopped playing after a month. I could not decide on a favorite class.

Hi all, I'm Pink I'm 59 yrs married 42 yrs, 5 children, 2 grands. I'm on Gaia because of my son. He joined as a young teen to help him with his school work. I would play the games to earn him gold. Then in 2008 He made Pink for me as a surprise for Valentine's day. He's not on Gaia any more, but I stayed.

CyborgJiro Ah never really played the first one. I sort of liked MapleStory 2 but I stopped playing after a month. I could not decide on a favorite class. I LOVE the first one! I still actively play it, lol. And I had the same problem with MS2. Pretty much had a character from each class. ^^;; I was a beta tester for MS2 and the Knight was way stronger in beta. I tried to get my dad into Gaia years ago, but he didn't stay on the site for long. He's into debating and discussing things in length, so he didn't really get into Gaia.

Yesterday we had the freakiest thing happen. Early in the morning it was a lovely morning, when out of nowhere there's this big lightening strike! It must have done some big time damage to our internet provider, because we were without services, for everything with them from the strike until sometime early this morning!
It was the only strike and the sun was out all day.
Always happy to support a fellow AMGer.
