Appearance: Lifa is lightly tan, of average height (around 5'6) and medium build, and she dresses in more greens and greys. She isn't fond of anything she can't move in, and the youg rider has short, very short platinum blond hair and oval, green-blue eyes..

Calm
Lifa doesn't startle easily. She's rather calm most times, and often doesn't panic over things, instead doing her best to mitigate situations. She tries not to let things get under her skin, and often is the last to panic. If she panics, you know it is awful.
Optimistic
Like her father, Lifa is a generally optimistic person. She tries to spread optimism, and will help thers see a best case scenario. She never sees the worst unless she has no choice, and remains ever positive things will spin better in the meantime.
Kind hearted
Lifa thinks the best of everyone and as such will try to make sure they are thought of. She'll help people in need and will sometimes bring Naysath to meet strangers so they can find a reason to smile. Lifa usually tries to reach out to people, and even though sh's young, it shows.
Negatives
Insecure
Lifa knows her mother never wanted toi keep her, that she abandoned her to her fgather, and.. It hurt her. Lifa isn't sure, really, that she'll ever be good enoiugh -- for Naysath, to help others... Or to do much of anything of worth. Her self confidence is a fragile thing, and people often worry if they learn how insecure she generally is.
Poor at emotional expression
Lifa dfoes not show emotion easily, unless it is extreme. Because she's calm, people find it hard to tell if she's concerned, worried, unhappy, cheerful, or just hungry. While strong emotion like fear or so can show, in normal cases, Lifa's just hard to read. Very hard. Little irritating.
Quiet
Along with not expressing well, Lifais quiet. Too quiet. The quiet that doesn't bring up problems, the quiet tyhat won't reach out to fgind help, the quiet of watching, and internalizing many things. Lifa should open up, talk more, and be less... Creepy or be less withdrawn, but she's not, and it's often worrrying.
History: Lifa was born because of a greenrider flight that her father's dragon won, and, as a result, Lifa was born to a rider ENTIRELY ill prepared for motherhood. At 3 months, she was handed to her father and her mother left her life. She was given to a wet nurse until eating soft food. Raised by her father, Lifa knew he was a Rider and away on duty often, but didn't bond easily to other children., When ten, her father told her of her mother, and she was, well... Torn up a long time. Angry, hurt, and sad. When she was Searched, she was mixed -- afraid, but hoping to Impress, rathering be a Rider like her father, not her mother. The same year, she Impressed Naysath, right as the disease broke out.
Lifa naturqaklly was a horrified Weyrling. She wanted nothing but comfort and to keep Naysath alive, and while hoping her green was going to be safe, she saw too many dragons and riders die -- watching one turn on her father, and seeing a handful of other Weyrlings lose their dragonets before long, driving her to cling tighter to Naysath. So far the [pair seem clear, and Naysath often seems as warm and gentle as ever. Lifa hopes she remains so.
Other: Lifa is the daughter of my other rider, A'sus! Sjhe kept her name like other female riders in the Pern series.

Gentle
With non-prey, Naysath is extremely gentle and has a tender heart. She never knew time without a fear she was in danger, or that others were, and tries to alarm nothing but her dinner. The dragon is the sort to have a very light touch, and an equally light voice, and tender temperament/
Loving
Naysath is a love. Tender, affectionate, warm... Her gentleness is matched by her love of others and desire to offer others a spot of affection. She loves to be hugged and cuddled, and spent much of her life used to agffection, assuming it was just as good to give it as get it.

Naysath is good at talking about her feelings. Not just to Lifa -- others as well. A trait she was born to, Naysath feels sharing emotions helps others, and tries to encourage others to do the same -- especially her rider.

Naive
Naysath was coddled a bit much as a dragonet as as such doesn't see the bad as often as she ought. Naysath thinks everyone wants to be friends, not understanding the world isn't sunshine and rainbows all the time, and certainly has yet to realize dragon cuddles are not the answer to all problems. Really, she tries, but.
Immature
Naysath acts like a dragonet more often than not. She doesn't grasp some things because she was, well, sheltered, and she tries to play like a baby... With adults. Naysath needs supervision so she doesn't grasp that there's a time or place for things. At all.
Crybaby
Naysath cries. Easily, and a lot, fort a lot of reasons. Prey escaped? Tears. Scolded? Tears. Startled? Tears.... You get the picture. Naysath cries often and for the smallest reasons, leaving others to dub her a crybaby when she's upset e3nough to cry, and she cries easily. Generally while it subsides quickly, it's still irritating.
