Winter started to walk up the steps to the Academy that she had applied to work for even out of her families best interests with the most comfortable outfit she was able to find for her first day. Yes, she was the weakest elder in the history of all of the pure-blooded vampires, but she also was the only one interested in interacting with humans and others that are not of her kind. What she found fascinating about them she did not know but with the help of her sister she was able to get the job to teach a class that she knew well of. This will be her first day and also her first time around humans for a long period of time, so she would have to remember to not stand out and watch how they interacted with each other so that she can learn to do the same. It was saddening that she did not converse with other people that were not of her race. If it were not for the Professor Locust that accepted her invitation and came for a chat she would be able to say that she has never talked to anyone outside of being a vampire. But she is determined to change that while possibly researching even more interesting things that humans will do in certain situations.
At the academy’s front doors, she started to look up at the building before looking back to the doors and pulling the right door open and stepped inside. Her surroundings were completely different from the home that she was so confined in and she didn’t know whether to like it or dislike it. Either way she was happy to be out of the covenant even if it was only for the school year. She also arranged for herself to stay at a set of the dorms so that she would not have to keep going back and forth from the coven to go to the school since her family did not know that she was teaching at the academy, she told them that she would be on vacation in London, so they wouldn’t go looking for her and find her here. This was her time to make some changes in her life, she knew how to take care of herself, just wanted to experience the things they never allowed her to do since she was special out of the generation and the only one to not have experienced it even for how long she has lived. This was going to be the year of change for her.
Looking down the halls she didn’t see many individuals about, so she decided to take her time to go to her classroom. She slowly walked past classrooms and other rooms that did not have a title to it before she reached her room and a grin appeared on her face. She took out her keys and opened the door to her room that she was assigned. Closing the door behind her, she started to walk further into the room while passing tables and chairs until she came to the front of the room and slid her left hand on the desk that was to be hers for the rest of the school year before sitting down in the chair. She looked at her right arm that had her watch attached to it. Looks like she still had time to go out and look around to get herself familiar with her surroundings. She stood up from her seat and walked to the classroom door to open and close it behind her so that she was able to go exploring the grounds for about an hour or so.

Two minutes ahead of schedule, that was close. Winter looked up from her watch and opened the door to her classroom to find that it was still empty, without another being in it. She sighed a breath of relief to see that she didn't have anyone waiting on her instead which to her was a good thing. It would terrible for her image to be known as the professor that always showed up late to her own class. To be completely honest she didn't get any kind of attendance sheet from the front office so she was unaware of anyone that was scheduled to even have this class at this particular time. Slowly she walked over to her desk that was in the corner of the room and gently set her back on top of it. Winter took out her books, notebooks, pens and even came prepared with her own set of chalkboard markers because the older ones seemed so dirty to her and she liked to be neat and not chalk up her gloves. Speaking of which she had to decide if she wanted to keep her gloves on or take them off to seem like she was normal. Decisions...decisions. She thought better to take her gloves off so she wouldn't seem overly weird wearing a bunch of black and a dark forest green sweater underneath her black hooded jacket that she was going to keep her hood up because it was entirely too bright at the campus to have it off. She peeled the leather gloves from her hands and put them into her back pocket just in case she may need them later.
Looking around the classroom Winter didn't see anything that would need her immediate attention so she decided to take this time to write her name on the board. She uncapped the marker and turned around to write her name to find out she might have to be creative with it since she wasn't that tall to begin with and still had to write her lesson on the board. Thinking about it she decided to put her name off to the side big enough for everyone to see but out of the way enough for her to get her point across elsewhere.
After putting her name on the board she recapped the marker and set it down on her desk and decided to sit down and wait until other showed up if she were to have anyone coming to her class that is. She opened her bag and took out a book she was currently reading and plopped down into the chair at her desk and started to read her book until someone were to come in.

Rei entered the classroom, being sure to not enter too loudly in case they might disturb anyone studying up before class. However, to their surprise, they seemed to be the first one there, save for one woman sitting at the desk at the front, who presumably was the professor for this course. They thought it likely that they were just the first to find their way to the classroom, and that others would soon enter as well. In any case, it would give Rei an opportunity to choose a good seat. They took a seat with a good view, and awaited for the class to begin.
As they awaited the professor's lecture, Rei briefly studied her. Oddly enough, they didn't appear much older than them. Presumably they had to have already been quite knowledgeable on the subjects involved in this course, if they were tenured at such a young age. Then again, Rei realized that looks can be deceiving, and that was certainly true here. She seemed to have a... gentle aura? So far as Rei could tell, though they hadn't had any interactions yet. Well, they weren't here to gauge her character, in any case. Rei continued to sit quietly, and wait for the other students, and for her to begin.

Winter was so engrossed in her book that she did not notice that someone had walked into the classroom. She normally is able to pick up on when someone is around her but for some reason she went into another world that she had created in her head to imagine how things play out from the text she was reading. It was a fascinating thing that she does but the downfall to it is that she forgets all of the other things around her when she solely gets into the small details of what is typed out. Lifting up her right hand to move her hair out of her face she noticed small movement at the corner of her eye and looked up to see that there was someone sitting down. "Oh, I'm sorry how rude of me." She closed her book and placed it back into her bag before taking out her notebook and textbook then standing up from her chair to stand at the podium.
"Hello, my name is Dr. Alderliesten and I am the Vampire History teacher here at the academy. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to answer to my best abilities." She lifted her text book and notebook and placed them on top of the podium that she was standing at. "But for right now I will let you introduce yourself and what you plan to gain from taking this course. Which this is a reminder that this is Vampire History, not modern day Vampires so if it does not go with their past I do not have the answers for you." Walking around the podium she made sure her hood stayed in place while she moved her hair from her face again before gesturing for the student to introduce themselves.

Rei waited momentarily before the professor noticed them and introduced herself. She introduced herself as Dr. Alderliesten, giving a quick rundown and asking for introductions. Seeing as they were the only student in the class at the time, Rei did not mind using a more informal tone. "Hello, Dr. Alderliesten, it's nice to meet you. My name is Rei Lavallé." Rei did not likely look like most students, covering most of their face with a mask, revealing only dull, impassive eyes.
"I became a student at this academy in order to gain experience and strength, as well as knowledge of the enemies we face, which I would deem necessary in the world we find ourselves in today. As for this class in particular, well I could say there are two reasons for it. Firstly, I feel understanding as many aspects of your enemy as you can may help one defend against and defeat them. This remains true for vampires even. However, on the other hand, I don't wish to mercilessly hunt them, which leads into my second reason. I believe many people fear and hate vampires because they don't understand them. But are they not a people just like us? They have their own lives, their own history, just as we do. I seek knowledge to aid me, yes, but I also seek understanding. It could simply be a foolish pursuit, but it is something I wish to work towards."
Rei seemed to look off, as if pondering what they had just said, before returning their attention, continuing, "You'll have to forgive me if I went off on a bit of a rant. Maybe I'm just passionate about these topics. In any case, I look forward to learning what you may teach."

As Winter listened to his reasoning off why he wanted to take this particular class, she was just a bit shocked that someone would think to research and get the back story of a race before judging what they were and what they do. Mainly the reasons of the past were to survive, some became greedy and decided to go solo and that was how humans found out about their them. Whether it was intentional back then or not, everyone now knew that vampires were either real or a myth. Luckily there were elders like herself that made sure that everything was in place and no one stepped a finger nail out of line without her knowing it. Thankfully she had a student that was rather interested in knowing the details of it but there was something of the student in front of her that was different that she wasn't able to put her finger on.
But none the less, it was refreshing to hear someone say that they wanted to know a history to get to know what's behind the now a day people. She nodded at points when he was explaining exactly why he wanted to learn more about vampires. When he off as if he was lost in thought she waited to see if it was the last point he wanted to make. When he started to apologize about being fascinated in learning she shook her head. "No need to apologize for wanting to learn more about something, that is actually a very good thing. If no one wanted to learn anything dealing with other people how would I have become a professor for this class?" She gave a small smile to reassure him. "But it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Mr. Lavallé, I will be your Vampire History teacher for the next couple of weeks so I hope we can go on an adventure that will help us to get to know about a new world." She readjusted her hood that was on her head to show her face just a little more so that she was able to look at her student face to face instead of him only being able to see her mouth. But she did make sure she wasn't too exposed to the sunlight so she wouldn't be exhausted just after one class. She straightened out her notebook and turned around to start writing on the board. Grabbing a dry erase marker she uncapped it and started jotting down a date and what happened in the books that was on record. She turned around to face her student before going into the topic.
"So to get started I decided to just go off of something small to get our minds going and to help us understand just a little more about what might have happened at this particular time. I will give you a text book that will have all of these dates in them and it up to you if you would like to keep the book or leave it here, but fair warning, we do have pop quizzes and you never know when I will do tests to see how much you have learned and what we need to go over again. But if you do have any questions for me, as I said before, don't hesitate to ask me." She grabbed the text book she had on her desk and walked to the table Rei was sitting and placed it down in front of him. Turning around she went back to the board before she continued with the lesson. "So if you turn to page 62, you'll see a myth that has been going around for years about Dracula. In history they say that he was the very first vampire to be on this earth. But in fact there is proof that it is Ambrogio and his beloved Selena that came first.
She went to the board and wrote down information that was in the text book but in her own way. "The first vampire may be traced to Greek mythology in the story of a young Italian man named Ambrogio and love of his life, Selena. The story includes many features of mainstream vampire tales such as passion, blood-sucking and extreme sun sensitivity. According to the myth, Ambrogio fell in love with Selena after visiting the legendary Oracle in the temple of Apollo, the sun god. He asked her to marry him, but little did he know the jealous Apollo wanted her for his own. Apollo cursed Ambrogio by causing his skin to burn whenever it was exposed to sunlight. In desperation, Ambrogio turned to Hades, the god of the underworld, and then Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, for help. After stealing Artemis’s silver bow to fulfill a deal made with Hades, Artemis cursed Ambrogio so silver would burn his skin. She later took pity on him, though, and gave him super strength, immortality, and fangs to kill beasts to use their blood to write love poems to Selena. Eventually, the mortal Selena escaped Apollo’s grasp and reunited with the immortal Ambrogio. Artemis told Ambrogio he could make Selena immortal by drinking her blood which would kill her body but make her spirit live on. Their combined blood could then turn anyone who drank it into a vampire." She couldn't help but smile to actually be able to tell her parents story, even if it is just for a second she was proud of her parents and all the hardships they endured but still was able to make their family. She cleared her throat to get back to her teaching.
She turned away from the board and back to her student "Following the story so far? Any questions before I continue?" She waited with her hands behind her back and positioned her body to put her weight to her left side of her body to lean slightly against the podium.

Zion walked through the hallway slowly as he listened to the surrounding students converse. Their loud and chipper conversations bounced around from wall to wall parading his eardrums and he hears a voice of a female that triggered his instincts for further investigation. He sniffed the the area highlighting numerous candidates of where this voice came from he looked through the walls examining the highlighted auras and pinpointing the exact location the sound came from and it fallowed with laughter and naturally the motions of which the humorous outburst induced. Zion pinpointed the target and proceeded to the locker of the charming laughter and took notice of another female she was engaged in a deep conversation with. He smirked with interest as he walked around the corner to see the two beautiful girls one with dark hair and bronzed skin the other with long blonde hair and quite the physique yet he took notice of the lack of a beating heart over the sound of their sexual tension and desire for new temptations. Who better to play that role than he... thus he approached the the darker skinned female from behind in a bumping movement and whispered in her ear. "I'm sorry about that, I'm a little clumsy." The blonde spoke softly "You should watch where you're going puppy, some cats have fangs" Her pink eyes locked on Zion looking him up and down as her friend grinned up at him and wrapped his arm around her "Claudia be nice... I'm sure it was quite a convenient accident..." the dark one stated as she grazed his pelvis with her curves. "Well it not quite an accident... you see I'm looking for two people to drink with and... given the fact that you seem to have such big hearts and full of life that you might want to sin a little..." Zion smirked as he brushed his jaw against the girl's cheek. His comment made the two laugh and look at each other as though thinking a similar answer. "Boy you better stop..." The darker girl uttered as her hormones suggested he should proceed further. "Well given that we are in our late 80s I'd say we're old enough... why not?" Claudia said and began to bite her lip. Then a teacher approached the three. "Hey that behavior is prohibited on school grounds..." He said to them and folded his arms then Zion smiled deviously "If I'm not mistaken it's never been confirmed in the original rules of this school..." the dark girl said as she glared at the teacher as though she was ready to take his head off. "I don't like what's going on here" The teacher replied and Zion smiled harder "Well I don't quite like the way your looking at me and my new friends here perhaps we should take this off campus and..." Before Zion could finish his sentence Claudia said to him "Easy boy... we got this... " She looked at the teacher "We then... perhaps you'd like me to call the your abusive parents and tell them of your passing and proceed to slowly slaughter your wife and daughter before them and rip their tongues from their mouths leave them def and blind? I grew up with your Grandmother so... I'm fully aware of each and every one of your relatives." The teacher froze up and his brow began to sweat heftily and he swallowed his pride literally and wiped the sweat from his upper lip and walked away. The trio laughed sensationally. "This is why I love older women... how about the forest later on tonight?" Zion smiled and nibbled her ear "Sounds like a plan and make sure you bring that dro with you when you come..." The dark one smiled and kissed his jaw and gently strokes his cheek as she moves away from his grasp then Claudia puts her index finger on her chest and pushes the lycan back slightly in a teasing manner. "For now... we gotta get to class Mina." Claudia said as she turned to walk away and her friend follows waving to her interest. "See you soon" Mina said and Zion smirked again "Refreshing your memory on events you've experienced already is always one of your species most attractive qualities." Zion said and the two vampires turned and playfully put their middle fingers up at him and continued to sexily walk away and Zion turned to and began to walk toward his class still covered in the scent of blood and weed. On his way to his classroom Zion picked up on the lecture his teacher was giving and as she finished her statement and asked a question Zion walked into the classroom his scent was potent and his clothes were still stained in blood still he looked around and nodded to his classmates then at the teacher.... "What about the history of our fine cities vampires..." He uttered as he suddenly felt a familiarity with this teacher. He looked her up and down and recognized her scent from somewhere. Was he too high or something he was puzzled for the first time in a very long time. Regardless he awaited her response.
