It has been 10 years since the movie came out, and the reward for the wait is The Cloverfield Paradox.
Since 10 Cloverfield Lane was considered a "blood-relative" it IS a sequel to Cloverfield but not one that directly addresses the events of that first movie.
This new film, however, is one that takes you through what looks like the creation of the monster itself.
The trailer dropped in the middle of the Superbowl this year and the moment the game finished, you could watch it on Netflix!
The best part, it may not even be long until we get Cloverfield 4

I'm posting in a dead guild because it took NINE years to even get a LITTLE PEEK of anything Cloverfield.
Now you guys are gonna drop 2 movies in one year directly about 1-18-08???!!
Aw man, if only we all knew ahead of time...I kinda hope someone logs back into their account and look through this old guild again. If so, hi! Cloverfield really is something huh? XD

Hello all, just thought I'd pop back into the void to record what was meant by "Cloverfield 4" in the article I linked in my post above:
This film (like the others since 1-18-08 ) are vaguely connected to the original Cloverfield film. The best link I could find in connection is this comment "sea nectar or clover's blood. The energetic ingredient of slusho." and they're probably talking about the injected stuff in the Overlord film.
I find it kinda neat that for over the decade articles mention Cloverfield for clicks.
