[[Cute Banner to Come]]

Here I will post the crochet projects that I am working on
(or have already completed as of this date)

You may comment, but no critiquing.

Sometimes I follow patterns,
(if i can read and understand them)
however, I am still a novice crocheter
and find that making stuff up as I go along
helps me to hide the mistakes I make.

My very first project ever.
No pattern.
The girls at the crochet club just walked me through the stitches
and when to increase and decrease.
I then made up the paw prints
and the ears on the hat.
(grandson is still way too little to wear it yet)

I guess I'm an overachiever.
I saw one of the ladies working on these socks,
so I had to try this as my second project.

These were a gift for the grandson's mother,
along with a messy bun hat.:

Once a coworker saw that I made them,
she offered me money to make her a pair:

Christmas presents I made for the family I am living with.

For a 6 year old boy who loves neon green.
(no pattern, just trying new stitches I saw others doing):

My first infinity scarf
(from a pattern):

Then I tweaked the pattern and made this one:

(she wore it to church 3 weeks in a row
and several times in between!

My last project I completed
the day the grandson was born
( 1/28/18 )

Made from the same yarns of the cocoon and hat,
I learned the waffle weave stitch and bordered a square
with the same dark brown from the cocoon:

You are so creative. My grandmother tried to get me to learn how to crochet but it never interested me until after she passed. You have done an amazing job on all of these things.

JUST finished this last night for a young girl named Makenzie

The pattern didn't come with a tail, so I made up a pompom out of chenille yarn.
And made up a matching dress with flower necklace to match the flower on the head.

Finished this 2 weeks ago for a friend whose son just had a little boy.
Made the face myself as the pattern had a weird looking face.
I think this one looks happy.
