Personality Quiet and in control of btoh her emotions and her talents, Soye's guardian was incredibly traditional, and has such passed on the same values. Respect, loyalty and obedience are three terms that she tries very hard to live by, and three ideals she wants to encourage in her own lotus. However, she does have a slightly creative, liberal streak that does mean she wants to do things her own way, her own time and her own pace. A little bit of a contradiction, she hates embarrasment and happens to be a bit too proud.
Bio Raised in Soriyu, it has been a very long time since she had been back to Koriyu. Her guardian was a healer who had moved in order to help others as well as pass on her knowledge without the competition involved back at home. Raised simply as a lotus rather than one with strong cultural roots, Soye enjoyed her time as a young lotus dabbling in different areas, only settling on art and land scaping because of it's value as a beautiful vocation.
At a much older age, Soye's guardian moved back to Koriyu with a companion, one adept in the art of healing and the other a genius in the art of bossing. Soye moved into her guardians' own home and redecorated it, weeding out the garden and attending classes as a guardian.
Her true desire is to raise a young lotus, to give life, to share life, to nuture life. Having recently passed the exams, she is incredibly nervous and wants to do everything just right.

Soye and Eunsun live in a two storey house in the middle of Soriyu. Inherited by Soye from her old guardian, it still holds many of the old furnishes. Below is an image of the floor plan-- heavily edited since the change in ownership.
First Floor
Entering in front of the twin stair cases, the garden to the left had been redone, with more natural wild life and flowers added to the simple dome. The living room is now refurnished as a tea room, with low tables and cushions that Soye bought back with her from a recent trip to Koriyu. The dining room kitchen was made into one room, and the bedroom on the first floor converted into a more private office-- Soye doesn't like being alone on the first floor, and the little patio, which serves as another entrance is well used.
Having converted the bedroom into an office, Soye uses it to conduct her business.
Second Floor Soye has claimed the master bedorom as her own. Eun is fine with the single bedroom, however both decide that the bathroom is too precious to quarrel over. The mini living room with it's tiny garden has been renovated to be made into a shrine-- this way, both Soye and Eunsun do not have to travel far in order to pay their respects.
The area of white is merely an indication of where the second floor looks out into the garden. Soye knocked out the walls, replacing it with a low railing made out of ornamented wood. Because of this, guests do have to take care when traipsing up and down the hallway.

Garden
With a little pagoda added to the top of the garden, it is a mix of water and bridges, with enough land for draping trees to dip into the crystal depths. Lined with pebbles and soft moss, there is no life in the water-- Soye doesn't like the thought of dead fish, so only plants fill the lake.
The bridges are made out of red cherry wood, giving the garden a rather oriental feel. Live magnolia vines are intwined with the railings of the bridges, and have a habit of blooming all at once-- creating a ready intoxicating scent.
The pagoda is used in the afternoon to drink tea at or to merely look into the garden. The garden serves no practical use, it being more about beauty than gardening. Because of this, Soye does have other garderners come in and care for it-- it would be too much for her.
