Esmeralda was sound asleep in her room. The sun had barely risen yet, but her alarm was going to be going off soon.. She had spent the night studying for a big test she had that day, but she had other things on her mind that night, like the death of her parents and how she was going to take care o her little sister on her own.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV Dragonia, a small dragon girl, was in her own bed. It was still dark outside so she was still asleep. That is, until she heard her sister's alarm go off. It startled her every morning. She groaned as she sat up and went into her sister's room to snuggle herself awake. Dragonia wasn't one for preschool, but always did her best anyway. She was being bullied because she was half human and half dragon. They called her names like Half and half, so she didn't have any friends in school. She would play by herself, or help the teacher during recess. As she got into her sister's bed, she hugged her sister, not wanting to go to preschool today. Dragonia groaned as she hugged Esmeralda, hoping she could go with her today.

Esmeralda groaned as she slowly opened her eyes and looked to see her little sister hugging her. "Morning sis." she said as she sat up and turned her phone alarm off. She looked at her sister and patted her head. "It's time for the both us to get ready for school." she said hugging her and getting out of bed to get her clothes out of her drawer. After getting her clothes, she went to Dragonia's room and got her clothes out for the day. It hadn't been easy taking care of Dragonia since their parents died, but she was getting the hang of it. She was lucky that her parents had left them a little something to get by, but some of that was being used for their funeral that was going to be that weekend. Esmeralda herself was part witch, part vampire and part human, her mother being part witch, and her father being part vampire. She had learned quite a bit of skills from her parents before they died. She was lucky to have Dragonia with her, because she didn't know how she would've fared on her own after losing their parents, but she only imagined how Dragonia was dealing with the whole situation.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV Dragonia groaned a bit as Esmeralda said that they had to get ready for school. "I wanna go wif you sissy." She said looking up at her big sister with pleading eyes. She liked going to the daycare on campus, as it was for kids up to the age of ten years of age, for days when school was letting out early, or something happened and they had to cancel school for some reason, but the college didn't. Dragonia knew she had to go to preschool, but ever since her adoptive parents died, the bullying only got worse. Her friends had abandoned her for some reason, and now she was all alone. She then hugged her old stuffed bunny close to her, not wanting the other kids to play keep away with him anymore. She hadn't told anyone about the bullying, but it was hard enough for Dragonia to get along without her mommy and daddy without the other kids causing her to feel worse.

Esmeralda finished getting dressed and brought Dragonia to her room to help her get dressed. "Why don't you want to go to preschool sis?" she asked her as she got her dressed.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV "Me not like school....." Dragonia said looking up at her sister sweetly. Her wings were tucked against her back, hoping her sister would understand. Losing her mama and daddy was tough enough without the bullying.

She wanted to asked her why, but they didn't really have much time for talking, as she still had to get them both breakfast and help Dragonia brush her teeth afterwards. Esmeralda brought Dragonia to the kitchen after getting her dressed and oaced her in her favorite chair by the kitchen table. "What do you want for a quick breakfast today?" she asked her.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV Dragonia thought for a second before saying "Cereal and Juicy please." as she looked up at her big sister. She was a bit out of it today since she missed their parents. She wasn't sure what to do anymore without them. She knew that Esmeralda was still around and that she loved Dragonia very much. She knew that her sissy was doing the best she could, but she didn't want to burden her with anything else. Dragonia felt like she was getting in the way of her sissy going to school and doing well.

"Ok, cereal and juice it is." Esmeralda said getting two bowls and two cups from the cabinet and pouring their favorite cereals into the bowl. She poured some apple juice into one cup for Dragonia and some orange juice in the other cup for herself. After placing the juice on the table, she got two spoons and the milk from the fridge and poured the milk into the bowls. Then she placed Dragonia's bowl of cereal in front of her and sat down across from her with her own bowl and began to eat.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV "Thank you sissy." Dragonia said sweetly before she started eating after saying her prayers like her mama and papa taught her to do before a meal. After she was done, she drank her juice while she waited for Esmeralda to finish her own breakfast. Dragonia loved her sissy, even though she felt a bit ignored since their parents were killed in that accident. Dragonia was so sad that day when she had to say goodbye to her mama and papa. She cried all day and even had to sleep with her sissy to feel comfortable.

Esmeralda finished her cereal ad put their bowls and up in the sink for her to wash later. She brought Dragonia into the living room and turned the tv on for her while she went back upstairs to pack up their bookbags. She was going to bring Dragonia with her to campus and let her stay at the daycare for the day, since she knew her little sister didn't want to go to school. She just wish she knew why.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV Dragonia watched the TV while her sissy got their backpacks ready for them. She smiled as she watched TV. Dragonia loved going to the daycare at her sister's school, the teachers were nice and she didn't mind what they did as long as she wasn't bullied. She was in the older kids program there now, but didn't mind. They basically taught the kids the same things they would in regular school so they wouldn't miss anything. Though Dragonia loved her school, she didn't have any friends, but didn't want her sister to know that.
