First, for anyone who doesn't know me, I've been a member here for awhile. 'Cept I left gaia, and came back.

Anyway, I live in this really small hick town, and I'm hoping for a girlfriend. I want one who I share interests with, and one who is okay with my...obtuseness.

Seems like everyone is shallow, or isn't interested here.

Any similar stories or help?

I know how hard it is to find a good person (don't me started on my last ex...). You just have to remember two things.

1. There is atleast one person for everyone if you look right. It just takes time.
2. It's better to be alone than tied to someone you can't stand.

Until you find someone, go ahead and enjoy your freedom. You have plenty of time to share your life with another.

I know what you mean. gonk I'm having the hardest freaking time getting a bf/gf who's fun, nice, and.... well I'd settle for not 18 or older. >.<; (I seem to attract older guys) It's pretty damn frustrating!

I'm hoping for a boyfriend, too. It's just not happening. And in the meantime, I shall focus on self-improvement.
