Junko was born to the notorious assassin Hanako Minami and an unknown father, and in turn, was never held in high regard due to her sullied lineage. Her mother was pregnant during the time of her conviction and later gave birth to the kunoichi during her life sentence. Many, such as Hanako, will spend their final moments in prison, but few can say it's where they spent their first. Unable to be raised by her mother and having no father to speak of, or any relatives for that matter, Junko was plopped into the Konoha orphanage as a result. There, she spent her entire childhood within that same orphanage's care. As it turns out, most who looked to adopt weren't wooed by the alligator girl's "charm," as far as charm goes for anything crocadilian. Junko was a bit of a problem child, even from a young age. She boasted an explosive temper and was more than a handful for the caretakers. When she was old enough, it wasn't a difficult decision for them at all put her into the ninja academy. At least there she would learn proper discipline and even better, be out of their hair for a time.
She did surprisingly well, however. Despite her unruly behavior at first, Junko became a very dedicated student, specializing in primarily ninjutsu and taijutsu. Though her rage seemed to be her biggest weakness; once thrown into a frenzy, it was difficult to snap her out of it. Suffice to say, she often got into fights with her peers. With nicknames like "snaggletooth" and "chompers," Junko wasn't afraid to give anyone who crossed her a fat lip. The nicknames stopped short after, once she made sure everyone in her class knew the penalty of talking crap. Once graduated and eventually put through the exams, Junko became a Chunnin around the age of 12.

•｛ Guru – Junko's largest summon, Guru is a colossal and morbidly obese alligator. He can barely move by walking, but rather rolls and can cause vast amounts of damage toppling over his opponents. His bite is powerful enough to crush through the toughest of metals and his tail is capable of leveling buildings.
•｛ Queen of the Mire "Queenie" – Queenie is medium-large in size and much faster than that of Guru. She attacks mainly with her jaws, shaking and tearing her opponents asunder once latched on. Queenie is capable "swimming" through the ground in a similar fashion to the Subterranean Voyage technique. While swimming, she often resorts to chasing down her opponent and then dragging them under to rip apart and asphyxiate them.
