August 22nd, 2019 Update
Hello all,
I would first like to apologize for my absence from the guild these last few weeks: RL has been terbulant for me in a way it hasn't been in some time. As such, I will be announcing my resignation as your Captain in a follow-up announcement tonight.
While I would love to remain a part of the guild, I simply will not have time in the coming months to be a productive or attentive leader.
I will be posting for applicants to take on the position and may leave it open as a user poll. However, if there is not much in the way of participation, I may just have to delete the guild (which will crush my tiny little heart), or leave it open and silent like some sort of ghostly specter that haunts me in my waking hours.
Thank you so much to everyone who has made this community as wonderful as it has been. I wish this guild and everyone in it the best of luck moving forward.

Hi, hi!
There aren't any really big updates for the guild this month. Thank you to everyone who has been participating in the forums - you're keeping this little boat afloat~
I'm still looking for anyone who wants to make tutorials of different building techniques, or even just how to access and use the different tools available for building (dressing room, avatar builder, avatar talk forums, etc.). If anyone has any that they've made, or if you have threads or forums that you frequent, please feel free to post in Resources.
I also want to thank everyone who has posted for the Showcase! It really helps to make our guild home page stand out. Keep up the awesome work!
May 20th, 2019 Update
Hello all!
Happy May~! Activity in the guild has been a bit slow lately - Sorry about that! I was in the middle of finals, reports, and prepping my dissertation for its preliminary defense eek (wish me luck!!).
I am working on a few different things for this guild, including tutorials! I put on in the Avatar Help subforum; though, I might make another subforum just for tutorials - that way we don't mix up the more generalized tutorials and the specific help guild members need/ask for. I'd love some feedback about this if anyone gets the chance. Also, please feel free to add in whatever tutorials you have created for the site!
The Call for Showcase thread is going strong, and I cannot tell you all how much I appreciate your hard work, unique designs, and willingness to share! I will continue to take submissions until we fill up the showcase all the way to December - so, please, keep adding them to the thread!
As always, I am grateful to the active members of the guild that help to keep it going. I know it can be tough sometimes to remember that you're part of a guild, but I value every moment you dedicate to helping our little community grow. For all my lurkers and shy members, please participate! I super believe in you! For my absentees... feel my judgy face and know that I miss you.

Let me start off with an apology for my absence. I have had a terrible and resistant cold that had laid me out in the worst way.
Next, I want to thank everyone who is participating in the User Showcase thread! It is my hope that showing off our creations on the guild's homepage will bring in more members and activity. Please keep submitting work you feel comfortable sharing with the public!

March 21st, 2019 Update
Happy Spring everyone!
Just a few quick updates for the guild:
1. User showcase is now on the home page! Thank you for making this project a success. Please be sure to put some of your builds in the thread so that they can be featured in future months!
2. There is a building contest going on right now in the main forum! Members are welcomed and encouraged to put forth their creativity in fulfilling the user-run prompt. ^^
3. I am still working on making tutorials for building in the Avatar Help subforum, but anyone is welcome to submit their own tutorials.
As always, thank you to everyone who participates in this guild. I'm forever inspired by the amazing work you put into your threads - and your builds!
February 8th, 2019 Update

So sorry for the late, late, super late update. Like, way late. omg
Okay, updates. Welp, member participation seems to be on the steady decline from "Doing okay!" to "Dead". We need to work on that, yo. I'm going to do what I can to start getting online more for contests and whatnot, but I would love to see some ideas from our wonderful members! emotion_kirakira

October 10th, 2018 Update
Hello all!
So, totes missed the September update - I had it on my calendar and everything. smh
Anyway, some excited new changes will be happening in the guild over the next few months!
First, there is the Halloween contest happening right now - please make sure to participate if you can.
Second, in the coming weeks, I will be setting up a voting forum for our front page showcase! Members can submit their avis for voting and the winner(s) will have their work featured on the front page of the guild. That means the public will be able to see your work when they come into the guild - your avi could be the deciding factor for many potential new members!
Lastly, I am looking into the possibility of making and uploading build videos using various themes to help share how some of us go about making our creations. Once I figure out a way to do this, I will share the technology so that members can start making their own videos. The goal here is to make a bit of a library that all members can reference when working on perfecting their styles. More to come on this.
As always, please participate in the guild as often as possible. If you feel a thread is too dead to bring back to life, make a new thread! There is an endless world of topics you can talk about, so go ahead and post, post, post! Also, new members, please remember to complete your introduction thread~!
August 12 2018 Update
Hello!!
omg I just realized that I completely missed the July update. orz I had a sweet announcement planned and everything for the one year anniversary of this guild (I know! It's been a year already!).
Not much in the way of updates rn. I'm trying to strategize different ways to improve and increase participation in the guild, so look forward to an opinion thread in the coming days.
I am also gearing up for a fall contest. Halloween is only 80 days away and I want to have a boss costume contest. whee I still need to work out the categories, prizes, and all that. So exciting!
As always, new members need to complete their introductions in order to remain members in the guild. I know it can be a bit of a pain, but it's a great way for people to get to know one another~ yum_puddi
For all members: Please, please, please help keep our guild active and alive!
June 18 2018 Update
Howdy y'all!
I hope everyone is having a pleasant summer so far (we're fluctuating between 80 and 103 degrees Fahrenheit where I'm at and life is not grand).
Not too much of an update this month. I just posted a poll for the summer contest - please make sure to vote for our theme!
I've also been thinking about making a little gallery on our guild's homepage. I might post up a poll about this in the future to see if anyone would like to submit a "Spotlight" avi. We can figure out if the avis should be fixed, or if there should be a monthly or bi-annual swap. We'll see~!
Please remember to stay active in the guild. Inactivity may result in loss of membership (unless you've let me know about hiatuses).

April 14 2018 Update
Hello all!!
Whew! This year is just flying by! I do apologize for not being as active as I should be as leader - I'm in the middle of school stuff, and it's taking way more time and effort than I want it to.
Anyway, actual update, I have created a reminder post for all current guild members. This post is meant to act as a little nudge to remind everyone that we need to work together to keep the guild active. As always, if there are no threads that you feel you can or want to contribute to, you are more than welcome to create your own. I only ask that everyone makes sure to be considerate of their fellow guild members - i.e. Please do not spam the forum.
I would also like to encourage new and existing members to post and update in the subforum topics. In addition, if you would like to host a contest, you are allowed to post the thread on the main forum and I will move it to the Contest subforum when the contest concludes (this way, all members will know about your contest!).
Lastly, I would like to remind all guild members that Introductions need to be completed within the first two weeks of joining the guild (in accordance to our Guild Rules). If you have any questions about this, please let me know via PM.

Jan 11 2018 Update
Hello everyone! Boy oh boy, it has already been a busy year. lol Just wanted to give everyone a few updates on the guild.
There have been some changes in the subforums, including the creation of a new subforum: Avatar Help! This is where guild members can post threads regarding help they may need with WIP builds or any other questions related to making or updating avis.
Unfortunately, I discovered that, in order to rearrange the order of the subforums, I actually had to go through and individually move threads from their original subforums to the new subforum order. Please, please, please, let me know if I accidentally left a thread in the wrong subforum or if the "What is this subforum about?" sticky doesn't match. I tried to be a meticulous about moving threads over as possible, but, you know, stuff happens.
Also, please make sure to be active in the guild (at least one post per month). I know there are abandoned guilds with a similar premise, and I really don't want that to happen to us. Sad face. So, pretty please, make sure to post, share, discuss, and be active in the guild.

Hello, hello! Oh my goodness! It has been some time since I've posted any new announcements.
Life Update
First and foremost, I want to apologize to everyone for how dead the guild has been lately. I'm not often on my computer, and the mobile app needs some serious overhauling to make forums accessible on that platform. As such, I really can't get on here as much as I would like. In addition, it's finals time for me, so I am absolutely swamped with work. Dx But!!! I still wanted to share some exciting news with all of you!
New Features!
In our subforums, you may or may not have noticed a new section of the guild. "Contests" is the subforum where guild members, or the guild itself, can run contests for other guild members. Want someone to design you a new avi for a prize? Want to run a holiday or costume contest? Want to see who will be brave enough to do art for platinum? This subforum is the place for you!! Official guild contests will still be announced on the main forum page, but the "Contests" area is free game for any guild member to use.
Rule Compliance
I'm afraid this announcement isn't all rainbows and puppy dogs. Due to inactivity, several members have been removed from the guild. Not banned!! These users can reapply to be part of the guild whenever they want, as long as they promise to be more active. As you might recall from the rules of the guild, this isn't a one man wolf pack. We need people to participate! Please make sure that you are posting at least once or twice a month to maintain active status on the guild!

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well - it's been an interesting and busy couple of weeks~!
I want to welcome new members and thank you for joining the guild. Please remember to introduce yourselves in the Introduction subforum. As you may or may not recall, posting to the Introductions forum is one of the requirements of the guild. Failure to do so in a timely manner (within 14 days of joining) could result in expulsion from the guild. Seeing as how this is an attempt to build a collaborative community, I really do not want to have to enforce such punitive actions. So, please be sure to post!
Also, the Halloween contest is active! Be sure to share your designs~ The prizes are still TBD (I need to figure out what anyone would want. I might start a poll for this...).
Sept 22 2017 Update
Greetings and Salutations! 'Tis I, your humble guild captain, baring news and announcements (yay!).
Firstly, a warm welcome to new members. Please be sure to make your post in the "Introductions" subforum within a reasonable amount of time after joining (about 7-8 days).
Secondly, the semester is picking up for me, so my time online will likely be limited to the mobile app. As such, I will try my very best to engage in the forums when I can, and I will dedicate several days at the end of October to judge the Halloween Contest.
Thirdly, we're having a Halloween Contest! If you haven't checked out the other announcement already, please have a look. All the rules and requirements are listed in the announcement. Since I will be acting as judge, I am excusing myself from the contest. I will probably still make avis for the fun of it, but I will not be judging my own creations. The prizes are still TBD (I have to either do some creative accounting, or we really need to work on donations).
Lastly, thank you, everyone, for being such wonderful members of our small community. I am continuing the promotion efforts to try to get more members, but we seem to be trucking along just nicely. I greatly appreciate all of the threads and discussions that are happening in the guild and hope that this type of sharing and communication continues.
Sept 10 2017 Update
Hey there, hi there, ho there! I want to welcome all our new members to the guild (thank you for joining!), and let everyone know about a Rule change on the guild home page.
I am changing the activity rules for the guild. The previous rule called for at least one post per week per member. However, life happens, and I don't want to be a hard-a** about posting every week.
Therefore, the new rule shall be rewritten thusly: As long as you post two or more times a month, your membership will not be forfeit. If I notice that you are not keeping up with this rule, I will PM you a reminder. If you continue to be absent from the guild, there may be consequences. (Exceptions to this would be if you have made a post about an extended hiatus or if you sent me a PM to let me know you will be absent.)
