-when you're trying to save up for something else?
I'm trying to save up for a Diamondback Lionfish, but sometimes when trying to make an avatar, I end up buying items instead. sweatdrop
Ever had this kind of experience before? Have any advice on how to stop yourself for the sake of doing the quest?

Have any advice on how to stop yourself for the sake of doing the quest? I am often sending gold to a mule and not accepting on the other end. I cancel when I want my gold or cancel to resend trade with more gold. "Out of sight, out of mind trick"

That Diamondback is literally the last item I think I need for the Alchemy Quest I'm on, so if I can save up for that, I definitely think that'd be an achievement. (It's either that or getting enough Sand Boldurs. Which is the more efficient route?)

That Diamondback is literally the last item I think I need for the Alchemy Quest I'm on, so if I can save up for that, I definitely think that'd be an achievement. (It's either that or getting enough Sand Boldurs. Which is the more efficient route?) How many of each do you need, and how costly is each of those items? I don't think I have either of those off hand, but I can check my inventory and send them to you if I do. (Taking a brake from alchemy and a lot of other stuff at the moment, I work IRL too much.)

I wish I can tell you but I am not even that dicipline.
Something I can tell you is making a mule account as that helps when it comes to saving.
It had helped me a lot in saving when it comes to some items that I am questing.
Though when I get the item I am broke again.
See that really good at being disciplined me.
Though something I do often and it helps a lot is selling items that I 100% know
I am not going to use at all.

I can't save gonk I hoard then need to add more to my hoard, so having -pure gold- is a rare thing for me. rofl so I'm of no help sweatdrop

Ah, don't worry about it. I'm thinking of perhaps using Mythrill Coins as a way to try and save up. After all, if I set aside a bunch of gold in Mythrill Coins, then I can sell those Coins when I need the gold and avoid spending it unnecessarily.
