After playing tonnes of games over the years, it's really become apperent that there are always games that never get the attention nessary to make them great.
So this thread is basically to talk about these games. In my opinion almost everything that Square-Enix has produced outside of ff, dq, kh makes it's way into here.
Taking in games like star ocean, which has an ok setting for what could be a brillant game, but instead they decided to bore you with large amounts of unnessary talking, which doesn't develope the characters in anyway. And in the end just makes for a badly produced game.
Drakengard is another game that annoys me beyond understand as to why the hell it's so badly made. The landscapes are really badly done in both 1 and 2, the character develop is something that you can only assume must have been written by children. In all, this game is something that annoys me more then most because I think it could have been a brillant game only for it being rushed.
Musashi in all I think it actually a good game it pretty fun and doesn't go too in depth, so it's easy to pick up and play. One thing that is horrible about this game is the dubbing. I mean what the ********, was someone asleep the day they all did this!? Everyones voice is muffled, everyone who recorded were too close to the mic, did no one notice this!!!? And thus another rushed game was born.
Now it's your chance to name a few game while you think were, rushed badly developed and unfunded.

And in the end just makes for a badly produced game. Good GOD yes. Though, to be fair, Star Ocean 1 doesn't seem to be as horrifically mundane as the second incarnation, and seems to actually have something resembling a ******** PLOT. I'm still way too early into it to really be able to say for sure, though. Quote: Now it's your chance to name a few game while you think were, rushed badly developed and unfunded. Frankly, you don't GET more rushed than Knights of the Old Republic 2. Despite being a terrific RPG, it is PAINFULLY incomplete. There are areas on the map you can't get to in the last section, it's the buggiest thing imaginable, an entire huge sidequest involving the HK-50 plant was never put in, there are tons of places in the game which were obviousl supposed to have OPENING doors but do not...it's a terrific game for its insanely good plot and characters, but man, it could have been SO much more complete. Fallout 2 is also pretty damn incomplete. It's got a ton of glitches as well, several small missing sidequests, a few missing weapons of interest (Holy Handgrenade for the PWN), much of the dialogue, and a TON of its endings are missing--and the insane part of this is that most of the missing content is actually IN the game, but they just couldn't fix the right bugs in time for the release to make it accessible! Almost half of the game's endings are there, just impossible to reach normally. Thankfully, some people online have made patches to fix most of the problems regarding bugs and missing content that's technically there, so on a recent replay after finding and installing one of their patches, I got a more complete gaming experience (and I can give people the link over AIM or whatever if they're interested--I don't think Gaia would care much since it's not illegal and actually is strictly following what the developers MEANT to happen, but I won't tempt the immensely corrupt Gaian powers that be all the same).

Yeah I have Knight of the Old Republic 2 and there are a lot of strange things that just seems lazy in it. Although I have yet to clear it since it's on load to someone. As someone said to me, just better off to stay with Knightf of the Old Republic 1. Ess Tii Eph Yuu I got a more complete gaming experience (and I can give people the link over AIM or whatever if they're interested--I don't think Gaia would care much since it's not illegal and actually is strictly following what the developers MEANT to happen, but I won't tempt the immensely corrupt Gaian powers that be all the same). Is that for the patches or the actual game?

The plot and characters of KotOR2 (Hell, Kreia ALONE) make it worth every glitch, though, and far more.
And the link would be for the patch. Go and buy the game; it's like 7 years old anyway so it's not gonna be much.

Xenogears sad If you accessed the debug room through gameshark you would know what I'm talking about. The Lacan scenes were going to be playable, the Solaris Gate#2 quest (the one involving the Jasper Cannon and the Babel Tower) was supposed to have the possibility of failure, you can actually see a scene of the Babel Tower exploding on the debug room.
SaGa Frontier 2 as well. Little character development, though the game presents you in a way as if there was supposed to be more to it :/

That's my biggest complaint about that game...you spend more time watching people talk than actually playing it.
