We incubated about 21 days ago some of our chickens eggs, and 6 hatched! and here is the result, 6 cute yellow chicks, which are sooo adorable! I just love them, so cute! Just 2 days old *.*
Now my son took these, some were from too close! but still you appreciate the cuteness! =)

Legion Of Oreos Aww how cute.. now my daughters are looking at pictures she thinks i am buying a baby chickie lol heart aww!!! they are so adorable, sleep wake a little then fall asleep again! they drink water and eat food, so this is good ^.^

Do you let any of the eggs hatch into new peeps or do you collect all of them? yum_puddi

Do you let any of the eggs hatch into new peeps or do you collect all of them? yum_puddi this spring we want to add more to our incubator, make some more =) the pure Chantecler, not saying the last batch of 10 aren't nice, a mix, so we have grey hens, darker and lighter, and some white ones with puffy cheeks hehe this is what my older male rooster looks like, but i think only better lol  this was the newest batch just last fall ~  my son took the pics, a little fuzzy! lol

All chickens I've seen are all yellow. that's because well he coupled with our Ameraucana hen, she's a grey hen, lays the light green eggs=) 10 eggs hatched from her eggs xd made some really beautiful hens, one is light grey chantecler mix, another is dark grey with the puffy cheeks like the Ameraucana, and others are all white with puffy cheeks so cute heart Our brown hens had also laid eggs, but theirs did not hatch, maybe cause they are just made genetically like so just to lay eggs and not cover them xd

All chickens I've seen are all yellow. that's because well he coupled with our Ameraucana hen, she's a grey hen, lays the light green eggs=) 10 eggs hatched from her eggs xd made some really beautiful hens, one is light grey chantecler mix, another is dark grey with the puffy cheeks like the Ameraucana, and others are all white with puffy cheeks so cute heart Our brown hens had also laid eggs, but theirs did not hatch, maybe cause they are just made genetically like so just to lay eggs and not cover them xd Wow. To make that discoveries and genetic mixes right at home sounds so amazing. Grey and black roosters look great. My Mother's family has a farm, but most chickens there are white and brown.
