The mansion had an eerie feel about it. The grounds were unkempt and the wind howled through the many dead and twisted trees. There was a light on near the front door but even it was uninviting.
Inside the mansion was in a much better state than the out side. many of the rooms were still much as the members had left them. Further in still was Lloyd's library. Many of the candles were still lit as if due to some form of magic or perhaps alchemy? There was however webs and dust everywhere. No one had been in this room for sometime.
There was a faint sound coming from behind one of the book shelves. It sounded like the hum of a machine. It was very faint, one could easily miss it. Behind the book shelve and several meters below the mansion, there was a room, a lab of some sorts. In the center of the lab was a vat of green liquid and in the substance was a brain.
The brain pulsated like a beating heart, it was clearly alive. There were also various machines in the lab all were o and seemed to be functioning. Suddenly a robotic tentacle came out of the ceiling and began typing on one of the computers. it input various complex commands and as it did so the brain spoke, using some sort of communication device that was attached to the vat it floated in.
"It would seem that things are taking a turn for the worst, to believe that Alison would awaken that fool Helios. His power reviles that of the 5 Generals."
suddenly on a monitor in the lab an image of everyone in heavens landed could be seen. Alison, Phoenix, Trent, David and even Lloyd all appeared on the monitor in a separated window on the screen, much like a surveillance system. The Brain then spoke again as more tentacles began to come from the ceiling all working on something separately. Once again the Brian spoke.
"Seems Lloyd is back and alive as well, didn't think i would see him again....but..his power seems different. hmmmm . he appears to have suffered many injuries as well but these readings.....he is much more powerful than he appears to be, so why then is he.....ahhhhh....i see...well with Helios fighting the half breed and Lloyd with his new powers, things are about to get very interesting indeed."
On the bottom of the vat there is a name plate and the name on the vat is -Markashi - the brain chuckles as the tentacles continue their work. The monitor focuses on Helios. A wolf howls out side of the mansion as a cloud slowly moves to hide the moon.
