Biography: Vincent is a rather well traveled merchant who was one heir to the fortune of his families' farms and lands. He was to be a Duke once however in his life that all changed. Vincent was forced out of his lands once an invasion of a foreign force appeared and invaded the kingdom of Alenthal however he would never know what or who it was because he was only ten at the time of the assault and was captured, the sole survivor of his home. At the time he attended school and was the oldest of three brothers however he never knew of the fate of his siblings. At the time he attended a noble's school and practices in many ways of the gentlemen's code, it was custom for his people that those of noble birth be bred in excellence at a young age and he was a prodigy in the ways of math and literature, skills he would later on put to good use.

At a young age he was sold to a band of pirates where he would be put to swab the deck and such things, a lowly keeper but despite this he persevered. Vincent kept the words of his parents in mind such as all pearls come from nothing but a grain of sand and to always look for the best outcome. He was a sly one and began to make his way through the crew and winning their respect not as a warrior but as a silver tongued miscreant. He began by stealing some small rations and hiding it with two other boys and when the food became scarce as it often would during low raiding seasons he would resell that food to other slaves for their shifts or for them to do his work. Once the captain got wind of this he asked that the child be brought to him and rather than have him killed he used his skills to good use. he enlisted the boy at the age of twelve as an appraiser. He would speak to merchants and learn how to break trade when need be so that the crew would claim the best loot in raids or sell their goods at the best possible prize, needles to say his skills and knowledge became fundamental to the crew and he became a legend in taverns and brothels across the western underworld, earning the nickname Copper Tongue.

By age sixteen he was already known as a pirate of cunning. His wit and tongue were legendary and said to be as sharp as any cutlass and faster than any bullet. The captain who enlisted him early on even entrusted him with his own dingy. He would barter and sell rather than pillage but this didn't stop Vincent. In time he amassed a small fortune of his own in trade for his captain, the man he came to call father at this point, however he always took a cut of the profits for himself even before he was paid his wages. In two more years he had thrived with his little dingy and eventually bought himself three more boats. He put two to work bartering the goods while the others worked to operate in smuggling routes. His love for the sea only grew stronger but the satisfaction would not last long.

Captain Gustavo, his captain, was killed during an attack. This did not bode well as the fight for control raised to a boiling point. The new captain, Captain Peresozo, or captain Bloodfist was a more ruthless and aggressive tyrant. He had little interest in commerce the way that Vincent made, to him either you kill or you bow and Vincent was not about to do either. Slowly Captain Bloodfist began to undo his progress and took his ships for himself. Without his small fleet Vincent was left to wait his own demise at the hands of Captain Bloodfist and he was not about to do that. So Vincent decided to fake his own death and paid another captain in disguise to assault his flag s**t, the Silver Swan, a galleon he purchased and made his own, everyone knew how precious it was to him and he knew it would be enough. At this time he destroyed his last crowning achievement and was left with his little dingy once more, the ship he started with and held on to as a reminder to never forget the small things.

It took him some time to begin anew but at the age of twenty he already knew enough to begin again. So he did and now under the guise of Captain Tombstone Jack he seeks to make his fortune once more, and return the favor to Captain Bloodfist in kind some day. For now he moved his adventures to the Crescent Isles and joined the pirate alliance known as the Scourge Legion. Under which he has ambitious plans to amass a new wealth and a new clan!



Personality: Quick witted and often getting in trouble though if on purpose or by accident only he ever knows. He doesn't engage easily with others but alone he is charismatic and open, a side very few people know about.

Likes: He has a soft spot for redheads and enjoys the sound of music. He also enjoys venturing out to see and testing his wit against sharp minds.

Dislikes: Captain Bloodfist. He knows that sea scurge is out there looking for him and he knows that he wouldn't be fooled so easily. Traitors and being question. It raises suspicion and makes him paranoid.

Additional Information: There are a few people he deals with and that will be well known to his new slave: Ta'kea is his right hand woman and the one who often takes care of unruly crew also there to train staff. Bianca Rose who manages finances and is the treasurer of his crew. There are others that will be developed as the roleplay goes.

Biography: Bianca is the ruling High Compositrice of a cult of assassins now known as the "Velvet Opera". They were once a cult of Merfolk assassins only, loyal to their deity Kotahi, Death's Concubine but Bianca was the first non merfolk member who made it through their ranks and ascended to the title of High Compositrice, some believe her to be the daughter of Kotahi herself brought to this world to balance order and root out corruption from the cult. Since her ruling she has rewritten many of the cult's codes and rearranged the cult into a formal organization of assassin's dealing in death, many of these changes have not been kindly accepted by some of the members though many accept the changes she's made.
She has refused to share much of her origins but she first came into the cult as a child, who's first kill was in fact an assassin meant to kill her and her parents at the request of a patron. She showed potential in the arms of shadow and steel, demonstrating proficiencies with weapons, magic and alchemy the likes of which had not seen before, she was a prodigy of death that was hidden away from the world.
Since her ascending to high Compositrice she has had much connections to Kotahi herself, her changes to the cult were welcomed as they focused on a theme most pleasing to Death's Concubine, and that was music. The ranks were remade the words changed and the organization grew in notoriety. Under her ruling they have grown in power and influence beyond the island of Ilysia.
There are those who seek her demise, for merfolks only get to live for about half a century but she has passed beyond five generations of merfolk, none of the members that were there when she joined are still alive. Some believe that her time on the throne has lasted for too long, but she is wiser than that and she can hear the whispers through the vines. She will not be so easy to deal with.
