[Lloyd The Loyal]

Lloyd awake to find him self in a dark hellish place with an ominous red glow. He looked around, trying to figure out just where he was. He was still clutching his Great sword and his wounds though grievous where no longer hurting. He could here the screams and voices of many around him self and he could feel an abundance of souls around him self. He looked up into the sky which was just a black void through which matter seems to be pulled towards it and crumble away into dust.

"Is this......The after life?"

He suddenly sensed a powerful being approaching him with great speed and he readied his weapon. He also summoned his second great sword and awaited the arrival of what was to come. Then suddenly out of no where, appearing behind him was a massive being. It was a giant by all rights but what race was it? Lloyd spun around swinging his blade towards the giant but it was met with the beings club and it sent Lloyd flying into a near by wall causing much destruction and dust to fill the area which he hand landed. The giant looked to the location where Lloyd flew and chuckled deeply.

"Over already? such a disappointment. "

The giant then took one step forward but as it did it soon noticed that the leg it was about to use to step with was no longer part of it's body.

"What?"

Was all it said as Lloyd came crashing down on top of it with both his blades slicing the Giant in half, after which it vanished into dust. Lloyd then stood in the center of the dust particles which were just pieces of it's soul, his eyes glowing crimson red.

"Foolish creature, to face me is to truly face the end.... now then , WHO ELSE WANTS TO CHALLENGE LLOYD!! "

He declared loudly. Just then seemingly out of no where hundreds of various types of beings appeared all around him, virtually surrounding him self. They all spoke seemingly all at once each saying different things.

"Is it him?"

"This one is strong.... i want to devour his souls."

"THEY BELONG TO ME."

"Crush him....KILL HIM!!"

Lloyd had a sinister smirk on his face as he readied him self for battle once again, his power over flowing.

"so all of you then? COME AT ME!!"

And with those last words of him they all pounced at him aiming to kill him and devour his every being.  

[Lloyd The Loyal]

Lloyd stands inside of a massive crater. His cloths torn too shreds and his blades shattered. Chunks of his flesh missing here and there but slowly regenerating. He pants heavily as more beings approach him.

"is there no end to this madness? how long have i been fighting for.....days?months?.....years? "

He thought to him self as he throw one of his blades towards one of the beings closest to him self, the being deflected it with ease but soon found it's self impaled by Lloyd's remaining blade.Lloyd then charged energy into his right hand and punched it's head knocking it clean off. He then turned around and fired dark energy blast towards a group of beings vaporizing four of them. he was very fatigued now and his swords were destroyed.

"i .....i can't keep this up...."

One being spoke with a high pitched voice.

"How can he still fight? it's been at least 40 years or so ."

Another spoke with a much deeper voice, it's eyes glowing crimson red i the distance.

"52 years.....it's been fighting for 52 years"

finally a very powerful being speaks in a loud deep thunderous tone as it slowly walks ahead of the now thousands of beings gathered. each foot step the sound of thunder.

"His spirit is broken....END HIM!!!"

They all rush Lloyd and as they were rushing him he looked up into the black sky and began to chuckle lowly.

"have at me then, i don't care anymore......this existence is meaningless, I'm done, send me to the creator already...DO IT!! "

Lloyd out stretch his arms and as they were about to come upon him a bright blinding light shot through the darkness from above landing directly on Lloyd and in that instance all around him were engulfed in flames. The one with the thunderous voice spoke out to Lloyd cursing him.

"I will come for you, and i shall DEVOUR YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU HOLD DARE!!"

shortly after that Lloyd awoke to what seemed to be a realm of light. everything around him self was white and gave off a strange but oddly familiar energy.

".......father..."

Lloyd's voice echoed for eternity throughout the realm of white light.

Lloyd waited for a response but none never came. Soon he was over come with rage and began to shout into the nothingness.

"SO WHAT NOW? IS THIS IT? ANSWER ME DAMN IT!! WHAT AM I TO YOU? JUST A PLAY THING? JUST A ******** TOY!!! ARRRRRHHHHHHHHHH!!! ANSWER ME DAMN IT!!"

Suddenly a soft voice could be heard coming from behind Lloyd. it was the voice of a small lizard child, no doubt a child of some alien race long forgotten by time. The child seems ghostly almost like a spirit.

"Why did you kill me?"

Lloyd turned to face the child his rage still immense.

"killed you? i don't even remember you. If i killed you then so be it , everything dies, everything eventually fades."

The child looked at Lloyd with tears in his eyes as he continues to speak.

"I was your first kill.....i didn't even get to live my life to the fullest.......i...I HATE YOU!!!"

suddenly the child faded away and soon another voice could be heard. It was the voice of a woman this time.

"You cut me down in front of my family, i was there with my children, as i lay dying i watched as you cut them down too....why?...why did they have to die as well.....your a monster. "

Lloyd then snarled at her with a deep tone as he made a fist with his right hand.

" Silence whore, you should be glad that i killed them. Now you can all rot in the after life together, i think i did you and them a favor, now begone from me "

She then burst into tears and vanished. Lloyd then looked around to see if they would be anymore surprises and he thought to him self.

"what fresh hell is this? i'm i going to have to relive all of these killings? so be it, it changes nothing."

Then a voice of a man could be heard and old man who's voice was deep and raspy.

"So you really have no regrets do you? stupid kid i should of never made you.You are not fit to be blessed with life....well at least you're dead now, just like all of us...You killed me, your literal father. I made you from my own DNA!! and yet you killed me too."

Lloyd began to laugh. This spirit he knew and knew well. He looked him in the eye and spoke with a smug tone.

"you i despised the most, when i killed you that day i felt whole. stupid old man, you made a monster and then when that monster killed you you question it. you deserved it"

The Old man then showed rage in his eyes as he shouted.

"SILENCE CHILD!! you are a fool, the day you killed me was the day you lost EVERYTHING!! you became a SLAVE!! a slave to the ones you grow to hate as well. that was your own fault and the beginning of the end of The Balance!!"

suddenly he vanished without another word.Lloyd tried to ran to him to stop him from going but it was too late .

" The Balance? what the hell do you mean? ANSWER ME!! "

Then without warning he was hit from behind and it knocked him to the ground. the hit was so hard it almost knocked him out but he soon regained him self as he turned to face what ever had hit him and then he saw someone who he thought he would never see again. The god king of light him self, Zasalamel.

"Soul taker 11079...you killed my daughter Azura and then you killed me. All so you could take the power of Our Father for your self. We wanted to return it to Celestia where it belonged. you ruined the universe, you killed your own people....and now...you have nothing, but death."

Lloyd stood to his feet and started to laugh once more

"one after the other....you just keep coming. Who are you trying to fool Zas, you wanted the power to control the universe, you are no different than..."

before he could finish he was interrupted by Zasalamel.

"Silence soul taker 11079, that power was our birth right, you had no right to go against us your own kind. You are a traitor and a murder now feel the weight of all that you have done"

soon millions upon millions of spirits appeared all talking at the same time, it sounded like noise but only some of them could be heard at a time saying things such as,murder,monster, suffer for what you've done, you are powerless, you are a child, you have no purpose but to destroy, all you bring his death, all you bring is pain. They got louder and louder and Lloyd was being surrounded by them. He dropped to his knees with his hands over his ears shouting .

"STOP!! NO MORE!! SHUT UP!! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYMORE!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! "

Then suddenly the voices all got quiet. their mouths were moving but no sound came from them. then he heard a familiar voice. one that he didn't hear in a long time. It was the voice of Azura.

"and what of me Lloyd. why did you kill me? i was the only one that treated you like a living being. I loved you and you loved me. how could you kill me? Now i cling to existence through a mere child. All i wanted was to make father happy and return the power of creation to Celestia, but you cut me down, without thought , without remorse..........no one will ever love you, Phoenix will never LOVE YOU!! HOW COULD SHE LOVE A MONSTER LIKE YOU!!"

Azura's words cut him deep and soon he could hear all the voices again as he knelt their.

"please no more....why must i endure such torments....please...just leave me alone...............i.........i am a monster."

Lloyd's spirit began to break once more, the weight of all that he had done crashing down on him all at once was just too much for his mind to handle. Tears welling up in his eyes and cried out.

"I'M SORRY!!"

He began to whimper like a lost child as he curled up in the fetal position speaking softly now.

"i'm so sorry....i'm sorry for all that i have done, i was a fool, i am a fool.....i understand nothing....i'm so very sorry...please....someone.......anyone...forgive me..please."

then suddenly the voices stopped and they all begin to disappear and as soon as this began to happen another voice could be heard. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere all at once and it spoke was a warm caring voice. It was hard to tell if the voice was male or female.

"Lloyd, child of Celestia, son of the creator, light of the universe. are you now ready to be reborn? to cast aside your hatred and resentment for all living things?"

Lloyd rose to his knees clasping his hands and looking up into the nothingness.

"yes....i'm ready to change, i'm ready to let go of my hatred. I don't want to be like this any more......Oh father please.....i don't want this life anymore, show me the way."

The voice then spoke again with the same caring tone.

"Then it is time fore you to learn the truth, it is time to restore The Balance. Let go of all your hatred child.You must, for it is the only way you can see the light. purge the souls from your body, release them back into the void and then i shall show you all "

Lloyd nodded and soon he stood to his feet, his body beginning to glow brightly and soon all the souls he had collected over his immensely long life began to flow out of him like tiny spheres of white light, some of them were red but most of them were white. as they left him they faded away into nothingness. They were millions upon millions of them and soon they were all gone and Lloyd feel to one knee. Then the voice spoke again.

"Very good my child. Now i shall show you your new path
"

and with that a blinding light engulfed Lloyd and as it did he began to see images of various events each accompanied by an explanation from the voice.He saw Celestia and the voice spoke to him once more.

"Behold, my first creation, the Grim Angels. they were my beloved children and i gave them the task of protecting all life in the universe. however they grew apart from my teachings as i created more and more life. They introduced death into the universe out of jealously. they wanted my love to them selves and they used death as a means to end the lives of all i had created so that only they would be eternal. "

then Lloyd saw the Dark Angels, also known as the Void Angels. the voice continued.

"Then the Dark Angels who had the power to control time grew angry and resented the Grim Angels for their selfishness. It was because of them that they had to watch over time and ensure that all things end eventually instead of playing and enjoying the life i gave them and so they stole me away from Celestia. I of course went willingly, why would i deny my children? They took me to the farthest reaches of the galaxy and made a new home for them selves and for me. Earth. They quickly introduced all manner of life to the planet and life flourished. They however continued to watch over time but they were happy and content now for they finally had a real place to call home. The Grim Angels, with their fury set about the galaxy destroying ll in their path to find the Dark Angels but they never did, that was until you came into this existence, you Lloyd and you alone would be the one to either destroy the universe or save it and ultimately you did, however you slain many and never once cared for living things and that was your down fall . Life was never meant to expire and now that it does it has to be reborn, but keeping the souls of the fallen offsets The Balance and breeds only more death and more suffering. that energy needs to be released, it needs to return to the void so that it can start anew, less the universe plunge into darkness and the Old ones revive. "

Lloyd wanted to ask about the Old ones but he soon saw an image of one of them, it was the being that cursed him but what did this all mean. he wanted to ask so badly but every time he tried to speak no words would come out. The voice spoke again and this would be the last time it spoke.

"Life is precious Lloyd and now that it ends you must be the one to insure that The Balance remains intact. I have given you new powers.
You are no longer a Grim Angel of Celestia, shrouded in hate and darkness.
You are now a Grim Angel of Earth, bathed in light. You must protect all life on Earth and you must not let any of the Grim Angels who remain to destroy earth or take my power for them self. I will give you the power to free souls from captivity and the power to defeat all those who threaten the Balance. The power of divine light is now yours. use it to burn away the darkness and cleanse the hatred from those who stray from the path of life.In time you will discover how to use all of these new gifts but for now you need to return to Earth. You are needed Lloyd, my child, my son. "

And with those last words Lloyd was cast out of the void and suddenly found him self back on Earth in a open field. He looked to the sky and he smiled with a warm smile. He was reborn, weak but reborn. Perhaps the transition left him in a weakened state but that was not a major concern. He had a new mission now and he would not disappoint the father of creation. He noticed a near by town and decided this is where he would go first.
