(As you should have heard/read by now, I am officially retired from the Cash4Trash Purging service which began October 20, 2015.)
During the Spring Cleaning event - "Purge-athlon" the Self-purge Competition was born!
Now you can continue with your progress and watch/encourage
others as they tackle their own treasure trove of hoarded goods.

This thread will mean different things to different Purge-ticipants as some of you have really expensive items you are trying to get rid of any others just have daily chance and rig fail - mostly worthless items. Or so many things you don't know where to begin or how you will ever cut down..
How to Purge:
Sell-back items to gold-shops, trash-trash, donate to quest threads or people who are seeking freebies, sell them in your shoop - etc.
-- Do what you have to do/what feels right to you to clear things out of your inventory for good.
-- Please do not use me as a source for this xd (I know - habits are hard to break.)
Suggestions/TIPS:
PLEASE DO NOT "DONATE" LITERAL TRASH TO THE DUMPSTER DIVE!
-- The entire reason I started this service was to keep all the worthless items that so many of you get OUT of the Dumpster Dive.
-- INSTEAD - make a free trash forum. "If you build it, they will come."
Take the time and sell-back the gold shop items in chunks.
-- It is very rewarding to get all those items out -- if you keep up on them as you get them 5 items won't turn into 500.
Enable stacking!!
-- This helps immensely!
Only display 100-200 items of your inventory at a time.
-- Yes, the amount of pages will increase drastically, but it is FAR MORE REWARDING to see the pages go away one after another vs never ending same page when you have 600 per page.
Track your progress.
-- Feeling like you are making progress is key. 3nodding
Again, these are just suggestions/tips for what will end up helping you the most in the long run.
Take your time and help yourself get some breathing room!

Not counting guild prizes to be distributed or my frog collection, I am now down to under 300 equip items!!! Now if only I can get a handle on the rest of my inventory tabs... rofl count down to 1,600-something!

I'm gonna guess majority are caches? XD
I was bad, and bought some stuff.. but having 1047 items isn't as bad as before, and I'm still not done selling after all!

Stealing from the previous purgathlon, another tip in selling stuff is to use the outfits option for bulk selling!
The exchange lets you do trading, another mass seller.
If you're feeling generous, trade some of the daily chance items to newbies/recent returnees, so they can have a head start in getting items/learning the MP (I suggest PMing them if they would like some freebies before hand)
Lastly, don't be like me-- don't collect something in a colour scheme that you'll never use but you keep it anyway because it's part of a collection and AHHH WHY MUST I LOVE THE HIND OF AVALON SET

I'm crafting 10 Rainbow Octopus to craft a Tentacreep.

I don't have cache items. -- check out my alchemy help thread. -- if you scroll down a bit there are cache helpers. macabre - may have some - i just sent them all the components that i had not that long ago. otherwise post how many you need in the thread and someone should answer your need. (or if you quote the helpers listed). sorry dear!

No problem at all~ I've quote them in the alchemy thread Though this just reminded me to thin out my game inventory, so I guess that's my next purging station goal.. Thank you for the most wonderful gift sent to me! I really did enjoy playing, and the prize is great icing to the cake ^^

I'm kinda proud that my item count is at x638 right now, especially since I used to buy dozens of stuff in the MP, and with my renewed love for LK (you know whyyy) that means I'm selling/trading more chance items than ever. Having my inventory stay below x700 is a huge feat for me xwx

let us not forget that we have the power to control the clutter in our inventories!! I have been keeping mine under 1,000... hoping to get rid of zOMG stuff to thin it out more again.
