There is this bird that I seen I would like to tell the tale of a bird of fire. (please post your opinions)
This was like some time ago before the winter of 2005. It was in the early summer and I was sitting outside. It was a normal day like usual, me just sitting in the house and I came outside to sit with my mom and grandma. We talked about things for I don't know how long but then they went inside so I just sat there. After some seconds I heard this amazing bird call. It felt like I had heard it before but in amazement I followed the call to my backyard. With my eyes I could see nothing but just what was around me until I looked up to the sky. I went into a trans and seen this beautiful bird flying over head. (Let me tell you it was bigger then an eagle!) I was walking and then some how this bird ended up on the table next to me outside. It was a beautiful bird of red with the face of an eagle. The wonderful bird let me touch it as I touched its feathers the texture was almost unexplainable. When its wings were folded it did not look as big but within the sky it looked very large. It felt as if the beautiful bird was apart of me as I was of it. After that I never seen the bird again but felt its energy all the time until the day came that I became the darker one.

Maybe you felt that the pheonix was part of you because it was part of you. Part of your imagination! rofl
No, but seriously. I yet again cannot judge this. I have never seen a bird such as you have described. However, there are numerous tropical birds that are big and red. Perhaps you should report this sighting to someone...I dunno, some bird expert. It could be a new discovery. Then you could name it yourself.
Yet another interestingly odd and intriguing post by an equally odd and intriguing person...(That's right I switched them!)

Lethkhar Maybe you felt that the pheonix was part of you because it was part of you. Part of your imagination! rofl No, but seriously. I yet again cannot judge this. I have never seen a bird such as you have described. However, there are numerous tropical birds that are big and red. Perhaps you should report this sighting to someone...I dunno, some bird expert. It could be a new discovery. Then you could name it yourself. Yet another interestingly odd and intriguing post by an equally odd and intriguing person...(That's right I switched them!) Remember that this was not a physical creature and there would be no evidence to its excistance. Your thoughts are mainly on the physical which stops you from seeing such things. Also the bird had more significance to me then so there for I was able to do more with that, it meant something to me. It allowed me to be more open about what is out there. The call I heard was real as the touch I felt from its feathers. Now you may be thinking how can I touch something if it has no physical form. Who said that my hand was ever physical in the first place? It is because I was able to reach out with my mind to touch it. These creatures are within our world all the time, its just that they are hidden from us and only come to those of pure heart and to those who truly know that they exsist. This is just one of many experances that I have encountered. You may think it is just of the mind but just as I have said before, "it may not mean something to you but it may mean something to another." So, that is what is here. The stories of old of these wonderful creatures came across when the land was still free of its humanic pull. Way back before the middle ages these creatures excisted and thribed in this world. It was shortly after many were discovered that they began to use the creatures power for their own undoing and then those creatures being of the forces of all elements dissapeared from the sight of humanity. This is why they only come to those of pure heart because of the deceit and carelessness of humans. Once again, please do not judge me or what I see because I'am a person like you and should be treated with respect. I don't mean to make it seem like I'am hateful because I'am not I just don't liked being judged for who I'am and what I do or see. Thanks for reading I shall post more soon. smile

Now it's making more sense...Now you don't sound so much like a lunatic but more like a theologist (Although some would argue that they are one and the same.). Sometimes though, those explainations are not always clear and you need to learn more to actually figure it out. I know many things but they are not always clear, I just go with the flow and take my path as I follow it.

Hmm, I really have no idea. *shrugs* I can't say they're not real, because I have no evidence to suggest they're not (i.e. experiences in situations where one might expect them to manifest but they did not) nor do I have evidence to suggest they are (i.e. experiences in situations where they have manifested). I guess the question to test this would be, where and how does one come to supposedly witness the manifestation of a phoenix if it does indeed exist?
As usual, I'm often the type who would like to believe in something that most people do not believe exists, but I still need some kind of hint of evidence. I wasn't sure about ghosts and I'm still not, but I think I may have seen and experienced one a few times at a friends' house. It's so hard to tell. neutral

It's so hard to tell. neutral The whole idea is not about finding out if they are real. Its about letting your self be open to the fact that they are. One of the practises of spirituality is to accept that anything is possible and that nothing needs to be explained because its how the universe truly works. It depends on the soul and what path it has chosen. It will be up to the person weither or not to truly accept that anything can happen.
