Appearance: On the tall side, Jemi is wide shoulders, wide hips, and wide grin with warm olive skin and black hair shorn short and messy. Her eyes are warm brown and her nose a bit large. She isn't pretty but certainly well built. Built is a good word for Jemi, she is a physical young women and dresses simply and with work in mind.
Personality: Why say things when you can just do them? Jemi is a women of action! She doesn't think so much as do and most of the time her answers to issues are usually physical. And possibly involve her fists and someones face.
She will never be a diplomat of any sort. Jemi says what is on her mind and bluntly at that.
Jemi may have a temper, and a short one at that, but she is a team player. She can be counted to do what is asked of her and more if someone is struggling. She just expects you not to be an asshat. Wen is her usual partner and known to cool her temper, but she happy to get out and meet people and cheerfully talk everyone ears off. (Wen on the other hand seems content enough to let Jemi talk for both of them most days)
She isn't big on what she calls book work. Numbers, math, blah, blah,blah. Can they skip it? She wants to skip it. Jemi can do simple math but more complex equations escape her. Don't need it. Wen can do it.
Wen is perhaps half problem, half solution. These close friends work well together, bouncing each others flaws and strengths off each other to the point they usually don't attempt to fix something that the other can just do for them.
Jemi is content to drop anything math or strategic on her partners head so she can focus on what she is good at and vice versa.
Relives when she sees it, and this has cost some trauma.
History: Born 163 - middle child - has two elder brothers, a younger sister and a younger brother and a younger step sister. Grew up on a farm, tending to herd beasts.
Met Wen - 169 - Small slip of a kid, standing behind his dad's leg. Ended up being best friends. His dad ended up working with them.
172- Wouldn't believe Wen when he said she didn't want to know what their fathers were doing. Ended up catching them mid coitus. Wen still brings it up when ever she suggest something stupid. She claims to be traumatized for life.
175- Ends up searched with Wen for Kolsilth and Noymulth clutch. Didn't happen but still, they are going to be dragon riders! Over the moon excited about not taking care of herd beasts day in and out.
177- Kisses Wen, her best friend ever! Leading to a lost of blushing and soft talks.
Her little step sister is born. Isha is cute and she is just not going to think about how she came to be. Nope. Not imagining her mom and her dads? Is it dads now? Nope.
The plague takes gold Bromalth and the world is a scarier place.
179- Gold Kolsilth dies of plague.
180- She impresses Lanceth.
180- few months later gold Zilzilth, Lanceth mother dies - and she wonders what is going to happen now.
181-Living at Fort, last queen dies and they might be royalty screwed over. Lanceth is doing well though.

Size: little under 25 in length, a little under 6 at shoulder
Appearance: Lanceth is a bit above average length for a green at twenty five feet long but at a hair under six feet to her shoulder she's about average height. This combined with a gymnastic build gives her a wonderfully slinky appearance that she loves to show off in flight to anyone who will watch her.
Feel of voice: A brilliant grin and a wink. The glitter of gold and the glow of flames in the night. The rattle of dice.
Personality: Some dragons are born cool, some achieve coolness, and others have coolness thrust upon them. Frankly Lanceth has so much cool that all three must surely be the case with her, she's just one of those people who could actually carry off wearing sunglasses indoors and or leather pants. Lanceth simply always seems to know what to do and what to say, she's never short of a comeback or a witty observation and is good at engaging people in tales of her own derring-do which may or may not be slightly exaggerated or totally fabricated. Fully aware of her own charms Lanceth isn't shy about using them to get what she wants which is often the attention and preferably also awe of an audience, and preferably one with pretty dragons in it come to that. Yes Lanceth will flirt unabashedly with pretty much any dragon she comes across regardless of their hue and when she reaches maturity she will rise frequently and chase whenever she can get away with it. She's just not really a one dragon dragon though, it's unlikely - though possible - that she will ever take a permanent mate.
Casually irreverent as she is Lanceth will probably find herself in trouble with her superiors a lot, not that she much cares about this because they're all boring old stick in the muds who wouldn't know fun if it pinched their rears. Lanceth would much prefer to work alone than in a team and unless tightly controlled by her rider she could become a real liability to her wing when she inevitably takes it into her head to break formation and do her own (awesome) thing. Long term plans are another thing she's not that good at, Lancaeth is smart enough - sure - but she finds sitting around sorting out minutia deadly boring, she'd much rather have a goal in mind and when it comes to the details just wing it so to speak. While this means that she's hard to catch off balance - she had no idea what she was doing to begin with - it also means that, well, she hasn't got a plan beyond 'let's go do the thing' which isn't necessarily great.
As well as preferring to work pretty much by herself Lanceth tends to think mainly of herself, got to look out for number one right? She's greedy, self-indulgent, and not above thievery if she thinks she can get away with it. Her great love of beautiful things especially precious metals will probably always be biggest motivator, she would for example quite happily take to moonlighting as a courier of goods whose origins are questionable at best if the price is right. She will also enjoy indulging in games of chance, anything that could help her get rich quick and thus able to buy a lot of pretty things!
Lanceth would be the first to tell you that she's no hero, heroes end up dead after all and she likes being alive so don't expect her to take any stupid risks for 'duty' where the only reward is a pat on the back. Lanceth however is not entirely accurate in her self assessment here, she certainly have the capacity to be heroic when something that really matters to her is on the line, a friend for example. While she may never settle with a romantic partner her platonic relationships are very important to Lanceth and if a friend calls for aid she'll be there to fight beside them just as soon as she's finished telling everyone that's she's not stupid enough to stick her neck out like that.

Why me?: Well it had to be somebody with a sense of fun and adventure, right? Lanceth couldn't be seen hanging around with anyone boring or timorous. Loyalty to your own small group drew Lanceth in too, you've got to stand up for your nearest and dearest even if they're doing something stupid. As Lanceth isn't one to loose her cool perhaps she will be able to help Jemi temper her, uh, temper a little bit. In turn perhaps Jemi can persuade Lanceth to be a bit more of a team player and to pull her weight proper, not just when it's fun.
