Personality: Jake is a calm and friendly young man. He likes to be able to help others and make new friends around the villages. He is loyal and honest (to a degree) but even though he is generally calm he will not stand for intimidation nor bullying. Despite his carefree manner, he is actually very responsible and would never let a drunk costumer drive themselves. Jake also is not afraid to let his opinion be heard and he is not easily frightened, which comes in handy since sometimes fights in his bar do happen and he is obligated to stop those no matter what the consequences. If he ever finds someone he ends up in a relationship with, he can get possessive. Despite his general demeanor, if someone manages to piss Jake off, he is not one to really pull on any breaks, even if it means he, or them both, end up getting hurt. This is a rare occurrence however, Jake has quite a long fuse.

Biography

Born and raised in Briggs, Jake hardly knows any other place but the three villages around. He has been on vacations but not many. He was usually at home or with his mother's friends. Jake hardly ever saw his father. The man had a serious drinking problem which caused him to be violent and unpredictable at best. It had started innocently by drinking at his own bar, but over time it had gotten worse and worse till his parents were only ever fighting and yelling at each other. In the end his father suddenly up and left the two behind never to be heard of again. His mother quit her original job to keep the bar running, as it was the main income of the family. When he came of age, the bar was defaulted to Jake's name and his mother left the village behind and moved to the other side of the ocean. As much as he cared about her, Jake stayed to take care of the bar. By now he got used to living on his own and he genuinely enjoys the work at the bar where he meets new people every time. His father is not unheard of in Briggs, but Jake has proven to be completely different from the old man and has built up a reputation of being the guy to go see if you need someone to talk to or just need to put a load off your shoulders. His history with his father is why Jake will never let a customer drive when drunk, or allow fights to get out of hand inside the bar. The bar might be a strange legacy with his past, but it is his and he fully intends to make it more successful than ever.
