Piypite
“How long are we supposed to wait?” The dirty blonde groaned as she strode towards the three so called ‘hostages’. They had managed to pick up these three stumbling drunk out of a bar. The rest of their little set up was from before but Wardite had been right in the affect it would have on the little ‘guest’. After all, starseed harvesting was such dirty work.
With a long, overdone sign, the young agent paced the center of the largest bay area. This center room had clearly been the main base of operations for...something. What though had been lost to the ages as well as to the other tenets that had come and gone. One had been so kind as to even leave burn marks on a far wall. Somehow they had gotten it out before too much structural damage but another good fire and down she would go!
The areas to the north and south of the buildings were offices. The north had clearly been used for the ‘big bosses’ with its size and access to everything. The south had been smaller day to day items.
Glancing towards the eastern wall, red eyes watched the only open door of the building they had chosen. The roll up door was up just enough that someone pushing six feet would have had to duck but from what she had seen, those fools would have no problem walking directly under. “And you are sure the rest of this place is locked up?” Her arms were crossed under her chest as she quickly show looks in both directions. “Or as much as it can be...damn ‘abandon’ warehouse and the run down look.”
She was just about to turn and begin to walk the perimeter again when she stopped and felt a dark grin come over her face. Turning back around, she watched as two little senshi made their way out of the shadows and into the lion’s den.
Phact
“Remind me to lay off the candy.” Delilah whispered to Ginger as she and the red head crawled their way into one of the back offices of the warehouse. It was small and her fear of spiders was making her stomach turn but still, the raven haired woman was as quiet as she could be. Ginger and her were the back-up. Well...no. They were the way to make this a little more even. While Kastra and Sabine distracted, the goal was for the two of them to try and get the hostages out of there.
Sabine’s smooth talking and Kastra’s gift for calm would play well into them being front men...or women in this case.
For now, Delilah moved towards a clouded and broken window where she could peek out to see Sabine and wait for the signal. “Ready for this?” She smiled, making sure Ginger had both her bat and her pen ready when it was time to go.
Wardite
“We didn’t actually give them a time-table Piy, though, no joke, if they don’t get their thumbs out their collective arses soon, I’m inclined to pulling one of our guests and feeding them to Lazy here.” Wardite said as he kicked the listless youma, which barely lifted its large almost crocodilian head in obvious annoyance.
“Hey, don’t you give me that look you gobshite, we’ve been feeding you, do your ******** job!” He commanded the youma, which simply grumped and remained motionless. “Useless piece of shite..”
Turning from the youma as the two senshi came in he frowned. “Stay sharp Piy I only count two, you said there were four.”
He crossed his arms, placing a booted foot on one of the hostages heads. “Alright, where’s the goods!” He called out to the two approaching senshi.
Sabine
Sabine was not afraid to say she was proud of this plan. They had taken few hours to come up with it, in the gym that Delilah’s cousin owned. They had grabbed a bunch of protein powder and some weights and had tossed it into a duffle bag to act as the drop. Then they had devised the plan.
Sabine and Kastra would make the drop off. Her ability to argue and talk, plus Kastra’s calming magic would give them time to delay, while Phact and Imperatrix, in civilian form, would sneak in the back and free the hostages while the agents were busy with the drop off.
Taking a deep breath she held the duffle up looking to Kastra. “Here goes,”
Walking fully into the warehouse she cleared her throat.
“Alright, we brought what you asked for! Let the hostages go! We decided that all of us wouldn’t all come. That way you know we are acting in good faith but also that if you turn this on us, there are two others who know where we are.”
Imperiatrix
“******** that, we deserve all the chocolate we want after this.” Ginger hissed back, inching along with Delilah. She felt like she might if she’d had too much caffeine, but it was pure adrenaline that had her eyes flicking to every faint shift of shadow, waiting for one of them to turn out to be an enemy. “I refuse to punish myself by not having delicious things.” She added, firmly, trying to look more confident than she felt. This was a little different than her usual choice of target, this was like something she’d have expected from a weird procedural on tv. There were drugs involved. HOSTAGES even… but because of that, and because of the power of their enemies… there was no backing out now.
“I’m ready. You ready?”
Kastra
Kastra was walking side by side with Sabine. She would not come off as the weak link in this group. She knew she had the tendency to do that. She held her head high, but all the same had the decency to look calm and careful as they entered the warehouse to deal with the two agents.
She knew this wouldn’t be easy, but she knew her role and that alone would help her keep her head in the game. If the pair would not listen to reason, and got out of hand, she was to calm them, keep them in line until Phact and Imperatrix could get the hostages out safely.
Her magic would have to be saved until the last minute. It did not last long, but it would be enough to daze them, and that would give her and Sabine a chance to get out without dealing with too much drama.
She gave Sabine a nod, letting the other senshi do the talking, she simply keeping her eyes on the goods and also on the unpredictable pair before them. If they handed over the hostages she would be the one to move forward and get them, she was the one that could do so without riling the natives.

Piypite
Piy didn’t need to be told twice. The moment she saw that only two senshi were walking into the warehouse, her senses went onto hire alert. As far out as she could, she scanned for the auras of the other two. Nothing.
That didn’t sit well with the young woman as she took a moment to cast a glance back at Wardite. With a slow shake of her head, she gave the man a cautious look. As much of a bimbo as she played, Piypite knew one of two things were going on: first, these two were idiots and came alone. Second, the other two were powered down and in hiding. Her bet was on the later…
But she kept her mouth shut and her eyes flickered once more to the hostages...and small pile of bodies...before going back to the pair of senshi. “Shorty,” Piypite finally said, walking towards the two that had come in the front. “You didn’t even bring us half of what we asked for ….” She motioned a hand back to the hostages. “Would you like us to give you half a human in return then? Tic for tat and all that.” Piy’s smile twisted as she played at the idea before her hands crossed under her chest again and she kept herself between these two and the other side of the warehouse.

Phact
“You are right. We go for dessert after this…” Delilah smirked, glancing over at Ginger before she caught the voice of the male. She could only wince when he kicked the youma. Deep in the bit of her stomach, she hoped it bit him...even creatures of darkness could look pitiful.
Raising a finger, she pressed it to her lips, eyeing everything going on. “Come on Sabine...pull him away just long enough we can get in there…” Delilah whispered, her hand wrapping around her pen as they waited for their chance. “Get him off the hostages…” that was what she was waiting for. A small window of space that the two of them could use to get closer. Once their powered up, they lost the element of surprise….they also lost the protection it gave Sabine and Kastra on being ‘the only two.
Red eyes flickered to Ginger then back to the window. “Let’s move in closer. Get your pen ready but don’t power up until we have to...”
---
Imperiatrix
“Got it…” Ginger set her jaw, her own eyes flashing with fury. “I’m gonna kick him around…” She muttered, threateningly. There was a lot on the line, and she was combating nerves with determination and anger. She knew how to fight, right? That had to mean something in all this.
She was banking on that part, it was all she had really. She hadn’t used her magic yet, she knew she was less magically powerful than some of the others… this was what she needed to be her personal ace in the hole. Lives were literally on the line.
She shot Delilah another look. It was her pen that had, at least it felt like, kicked all this off, right now she was a touchstone. Check with Delilah and hope for luck to go with skill as she edged closer, trying to hide any sound of her footwear as much as possible. She loved those damn boots, but they weren’t designed for a stealthy approach, and it was a challenge. Hopefully it was covered by the sounds of conversation and such.

Wardite
“We ain’t giving up anyone until we verify that it’s even quality.” Wardite added to Piy’s comment on the lack of goods. “Let alone amount. That shed was PACKED. You cost us a whole hell of a lot, so that better be the best s**t ever or you’re going and getting more before we even talk transfers.” Wardite added, before again nudging the youma with his boot.
“Come on you b*****d! Move!” He growled.
The youma did move this time, it’s head whipping around to bite down hard on the young man’s calf and shin, and with a loud swear, he walloped it hard with his fist, causing the youma to let go with a painned hiss before it got up on it’s long, lanky body and stalked away from the lieutenant, making it’s way out the door, giving the senshi wide ******** useless…” He growled, hopping and putting light weight on his now bleeding leg.
“I’ll make you into dust you hear me you s**t!” He growled, limping away from the hostages after Piypite. “Break open that bag and see if there is even anything good.”
Sabine
Sabine wanted to actively swear, this was not part of the plan. She didn’t like this. She was pretty sure they were going to find the ruse out sooner than she liked. She just hopped that Phact and Imperatrix were in position, because it was pretty much now or never. The youma had - for lack of a better term - flown the coup - and one of the agents was definitely hurting. If they were going to launch this attack they needed to do it now before they were even aware what was up.
Raising her hand up in front of her she shook her head. “Look, you’re worried about amount and quality? You’re lucky we were able to get this much in such a short amount of time. You can’t honestly expect us to be able to recoup your entire loss!” She said, moving toward the bag and making as if to open it.
“See, look, I promise this is exactly what you are looking for…”
She nodded to Kastra, and then flashed the signal with her hand to the other two, letting them
know it was time to launch their attack. “I mean we had to hunt it down…”
---
Kastra
Kastra watched on, her eyes ever on the couple. She had to gauge them, had to know when get attack would be most beneficial to them all. To calm the pair when they were not in the throes of anger would do them no good.
She made a motion to the man's leg. She was every the kind heart, and to make note of the injury was only to distract him long enough to gain more time. “i am a bit of a medic...it will get infected if you do not tend to it.”
She made the mention matter of fact. He could take her or leave her, but either way she knew it would set them aback. ‘please guys...do hurry’
---
Piypite
She only caught the tail end of the youma before she saw it move towards the door. Piypite knew if they ever saw the creature again, Wardite would personally kill it...over...and over….and over again. It didn’t matter who or what you were. No one took a bite out of him and got away with it.
But that issue could be dealt with later. More pressing was the two in front of her. War didn’t have to tell her twice as she walked forward, her eyes staying glued to the face of the shorter of the two. Bending down, she reached for the bag to yank it away from the little senshi. With a yank of the zipper, she looked in.
Phact
“s**t…” Delilah whispered, seeing the events play out in front of them. There was no more time to waste as she watched the female move towards Sabine. When that bag was open, their cover was blown wide open.
“Ginger...NOW”. Delilah called back to the red head, gripping her own pen as she called out her henshin. She knew the power up would draw their attention but she moved still. Now, no longer as Delilah but Super Sailor Phact. “Imperatrix, take him down!” She called out, moving towards the hostages.
Piypite
“s**t! Wardite!” She screamed, her hand reaching down into the powder and weights. Rage filled her eyes as she jerked back up to shot daggers at the two senshi before spinning around enough to see two more coming from the shadows.
“Wardite! Behind you!”
Imperatrix
“With PLEASURE!” Ginger snarled, grabbing her pen long enough to call out her henshin with nerves and fury coloring her voice. “Great ready suckers because this is gonna leave a -mark-!” Trash talk might not be the best choice under most circumstances, but she was still banking on her outside skills. Besides, the more attention she got, the less was turned on the hostages.
And the first, easy mark was a low, upward swing hoping to slam Wardite across his already bitten shin. Good idea lazy youma. Man, that was even banter opportunity.
Wardite
He felt the auras flare to life even as Piy started shouting and hissing under his breath he spun as quickly as he could on his uninjured leg, watching as the second red-headed senshi came barreling at him with her bat. He knew he didn’t have time to move out of the way entirely, but it was a question of where he really wanted to get hit. He knew how much damage a bat could do in the right hands - and he didn’t doubt the girl knew how to use it if that was her weapon of choice.
They’d been made, he knew he should have done an inspection of the whole building again just to be sure once the two showed up “alone” but he’d banked on them being “honest” and he was never going to make that mistake again. The girl was almost on him now, so he jumped forward, pressing into the swing so that it would land above the knee against his thigh. Oh it hurt like a ******** - but…
His hand reached out and he attempted to grab a fist full of her hair as his other moved toward her neck.
“Oy, you chose the wrong ******** to mess with c--t.” He spat at the red-head. “I’m gonna ******** you up right good.”
Sabine
As the female agent close to her turned around bag and all and shouted a warning to her friend, Sabine struck. She quickly darted forward, her fist aiming firmly for the back of the girls neck, where it met the skull. If she was lucky - IF, she was very lucky - it would send the other girl dropping to the floor like a sack of bricks. But that was if she got a perfect hit.
Odds were she’d give her a good headache and a nice stiff neck for a week - but it was a risky venture all the same.
Already she was preparing her exit strategy in her head, if she had to back out of the fight. She did not turn to look at Kastra, knowing the other woman could fight, but hoping to keep her in reserve on the off chance they needed to break for it.
“Kastra, Get into position and use your magic as soon as they’re both in range!” She called to the other woman, not turning to look over her shoulder. “We need to make sure Phact gets out with the hostages at any cost.”
Any… Cost.
Kastra
The young senshi didn't need to be told twice. As she saw the pair separate, she moved with a near feline grace to stand at an equal distance between them. She would be the easiest target, but all the same, she needed to be close enough for her power to work.
“bring them in closer…” her voice was almost as whisper, not wanting to give herself away as she focused her mind on the area around her. She could feel the movement of the ground beneath her as the others moved, she feeling the air on her skin as Imperatrix moved her bat. All of this helped her to know when was best.
She opened her eyes, looking out at Phact as she waited for her to start moving the hostages. Once that was underway, Kastra would take that moment to calm the room. Hopefully the others found their way out.
Piypite
“War! Look Ou…..OW” Piypite called out, her focus still on her partner as she watched the two new senshi appear. That dropped guard on the other two cost her.
The kid knew more of what she was doing that Piy had given the brat credit for. A hit like that should have taken her out...if she hadn’t been slightly moving towards Wardite. That movement saved her from going face first into the ground and being out cold. It didn’t save her though from sending the entire room spinning as a massive headache began to form.
“Why you little…” Piypite spun around, far too quickly for how dizzy she was and suddenly made the other senshi appear to have a twin. “Brat! No fair cloning yourself! Now stand still and let me rip that pretty little skirt off you.”
Phact
With a quick glance behind her as Trix made one hell of a swing with her bat, Phact made her own way as fast as possible towards the three hostages clearly still alive. They were her priority. The bodies behind she would check as soon as these were out of harm's way.
Diving around them, she quickly began to work to until the ropes that help them in place. “Hey. Can you all hear me?” Phact snapped out, trying to be as calm as possible as she watched Kastra move into position. She didn’t have much time. The response she got was a groan as the ties around the first one’s wrist came free. His body slumped forward but Phact could see it was more due to exhaustion. These people had been drained...drained almost to the point of no return.
They were going to need help.
Slipping back around to the front of him, Phact lifted his shoulders and lightly shook him. There was a small response of eyes fluttering before falling closed again. “Ugh...Sorry buddy…” Phact sighed before the sound of a slap echoed into the mix of chaos. That had done it.
He stared blinking at her but before he could respond, her gloved hand was over his mouth. “There is no time. You need to listen to me. Get yourself and these two out of here now. We will handle those who took you. There is a pay phone two blocks east of hear. You can use it to call for help. Understand?”
He gazed at her in fear and confusion. “Understand?” Phact said again, slightly harder and he nodded. “Good.” And then she stepped away, working to get the hands of the other two untied as he rose, wobbled and gazed back at her. “Who are you people?”
As she pulled the ropes free of the final one, the second rose up and both helped the third to her feet. “That’s a long story. For now…” Phact said, pointing them towards the entrance Trix and her had used. “Consider us your best chance for survival. Now get out of here! I have your back!”
And she followed them behind, making sure the three slipped out before turning around. “Kastra! Now!”
Imperiatrix:
‘Trix hissed as Wardite gave her hair a savage jerk, eyes watering, and teeth gritted as he reached for her neck. Downside to the braid… needed to be a bun or be covered in a hundred more spikes. His lunge disrupted her forward momentum… and she didn’t have time to think hard about plans. Changing the grip on her bat would take seconds too long, so she went based on gut instinct, shoving her free hand at him and snarling a choked “Imperiatrix Needles!”
She didn’t even know what it would do, or had only the vaguest idea, the way she’d known her henshin, but she had a feeling that sucker was going to -hurt-... and that was all the room she hoped she’d need to nail the b*****d again.
Wardite
One of these days Wardite was going to learn to immediately silence a senshi so they couldn’t use their magic, but today was not that day. The outreached hand struck his face and the next thing Wardite knew he was reeling back with a pained bellow, clawing at his face, eyes shut as he felt the pain of a needle being driven repeatedly through his face - eyes, nose, and mouth - and the long thread that followed it.
He kicked as he stumbled backward, trying to give himself some space as he kept his eyes closed and covered, trying to fight against the pain of feeling something MOVING through his eyes and lips. Trying to keep the damn magic at bay even as he clawed at his face in pain, leaving small red furrows from his clawing and scratching.
Oh she was going to pay once this let up…
Sabine
She stood her ground, and once again moved in, only this time she brought her booted foot up and aimed it squarely at Piy’s midsection, hoping to knock her backwards more toward Kastra.
“NOW!” Sabine shouted, following up that kick with a rough forward nudge with her shoulder. She did her best to keep her head away from the female officer’s hands - not wanting her to get a grip on her bun, but still - she’d be willing to repay in kind if purchase was found.
She just hoped she’d knocked the girl close enough to Kastra for her power to take hold…
Kastra
She waited until both of the agents were down for the count. If nothing else, it would give her the time she needed to call her attack.
She glanced to Phact and then to Sabine. She raising her arms and her head to focus as she called her magic. “Kastra Calming Willow!”
Her voice echoed in the air, spinning about those near her, whispering calming words, sending that aura of calm that she had so naturally, out from her body and through those of the agents.
They only had seconds to move. Such a short time to get a head start, but as soon as the magic hit, Kastra made for Sabine, grabbing her shoulder and forcing her to move. “Fast, it will not last long.”
Phact
As soon as she watched the third of the hostages slip out of the door, Phact turned and bolted back towards the fight. Two of them were awake enough to help the third one at least get out alive. She wasn’t worried…
But she was worried about Trix as she made a beeline back to the woman to grab her arm and yank her out of the way. “Watch the spread!” She called out as she looked up watching the two agents go backwards.
Piypite
“You little…” Piy’s voice was cut off by the shoulder thrown into her chest. Her hands reached out and yanked onto the little senshi’s hair bun, pulling her back with her. She would yank the woman…
The feeling was gone as the hair was pulled from her hand. A wave washed over her as she felt almost as if she had just been sent on one hell of a trip...or some really good weed. It was a peace that washed over her even as red eyes opened to focus on the pair that stood outside of the attack gazing back at her. “What…” She mouthed…”What did you do?”
Phact
They had a small window of time to act. When that power dropped, they had one moment of advantage before they lost it again.
“Girls! Get ready. When the attack drops…” She eyed Sabine and Kastra on the one side then Trix next to her. She gave each a nod silently saying they were about ready to kick some a**. They had talked before. They would not cause any lasting harm or death. That was not what they caused. But they needed to be taught a lesson...a lesson they understood before they could talk. As long as they were standing, they wouldn’t listen...that was clear.
“Take them down!”
Imperiatrix
She started when Phact grabbed her arm, interrupted in a gut level action to take a harder swing at the man clawing at his own face. He’d been going to choke her, he had it coming, but nodded mutely, letting Phact draw her out of range of Kastra’s magic and shifting her bat grip, firm, ready to swing. She could use her magic again, she knew it, and that was… exhilarating. But that was a surprise she thought she’d sit on for now, because it also took something out of her, like hitting something extra hard, and reveling in the endorphin rush of success afterward.
“You got it.” She growled, shifting her weight slightly as the place where Ward’s boot had clipped her began to throb, almost a background note to the adrenaline, but the kind of deep, pulse like pounding she knew was going to leave an nice, accurate black and blue mark on her upper leg, in the shape of his boot tread. She’d have to return the favor. Preferably by jamming her obviously superior boot up his jodhpur-wearing a**. “Ready.”
And she was… because the second she saw the flicker of clarity in their foes eyes, the second there was a hint from the others that the magic was fading, she was practically already moving, a two handed swing at her target, apparently not yet done with Wardite. She might have sworn not to permanently damage him, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t make sure he wasn’t going to hurt her friends.
Preventative measures and all.
Wardite
The change was almost instant, the calm gripping him as he lowered his hands as the pain faded into a heady calm. Much like Piy, Ward attributed the feeling equitable to a good high. But it faded quickly, and he was about to get up and lay waste to the b***h that had turned him into a pincushion when he saw the bat come into his field of view.
It cracked hard against the side of his head, causing his ear to ring and his body to sprawl sideways roughly tumbling a foot or two along the floor before landing with a rough ********…” He groaned, spitting out blood and feeling his head swim from what was surely a concussion if not a cracked jaw.
But to his credit he did try to stand, if only to not leave himself vulnerable… now if he could only figure out why the roof looked like the floor…
Sabine
While Imperatrix went for Wardite, Sabine zeroed in on Piypite, her eyes narrowed as she delivered a hard sweeping kick to the back of the green agent’s knee. She followed this up with another quick punch to the woman’s neck, this time the front.
Sabine was not one for brawls or beatdowns, but in this instance, the agents had made it clear that the only thing they would listen to was force. She was loathe to admit that she felt some level of righteousness in their actions but…
She did, as much as she wanted to deny it.
Kastra
Kastra could not help but watch the others as they took their positions and fought the devils before them. She knew she had to make a move, do something to aid them, but she was at a loss.
She took note of Sabine making the throat shot, she taking that as a chance to leg swipe the woman, trying to trip her to her back, make it easier to land a knockout blow.
“Sabine! Take her out!” She rolled her body to try and pin the woman to the ground by her shoulders.
Piypite
It wasn’t that she didn’t see the attacks coming...she just...didn’t care? The feeling of peace was still colding her mind as the force took her knee out from under her. Dropping to the ground, Piy’s mind cleared with a fast pace allowing her enough sense to dodge the punch to the neck. Her shoulder got the blunt of it as she rose back up.
“You…” Piy gasped…”You...will…” She didn’t get to say any more as her legs were completely out from under her and her a** was on the ground. Air knocked from her lungs, Piypite lay gasping, eyes wide to the ceiling.
Phact
Following Imperiatrix’s lead, Phact hung back just out of range until the bat made a full swing. Then, when she was sure she wasn’t going to be hit, the super senshi brought her right arm back into a fist. Using her the speed from her stage boost, Phact brought her fist back and released a fast punch to the side of the male’s face.
“Stay down!” She called out as the swing went through.
