Biography

Veronica was born far from Rawakawa in a small port town. Her gandmother was known as the town shaman and healer. Although Veronica's granfather died young from unknown causes they managed to have one child, her mother. It so happened that around the time that Veronica turned 3 her father too passed from an unknown illness. For many years that had been rumors spreading about the witches in th village whom killed their husbands to gain eternal life only after having birthed another girl to carry on their traditions.

It sat stale as idol gossip for many years until a bout of sick hit the village one harsh winter. Most of the ill were men whom worked out doors and a few children. Several passed but as Veronica's mother had been one of the ill whom had survived many of the gossiping widows flew into a fury. Whipping up a storm that wrapped up near the entirety of the town a mob was formed and her mother whom had been shopping in the town that day was burned at the stake. As soon as Her grandmother caught wind of the catastrope she grabbed up Roni and as much as she could carry of her journals and ran.

Eventually they happened upon an old lake house in the mountains outside of Yamada and settled their taking up the name of herbologist and pharmacists. As Veronica grew as did her fear in the knowledge of what had happened to her mother. She feared being around large groups or being called a witch so she kept mostly to herself. Only when her Grandmother's age began catching up to her did the young girl force herself into the village for neccessities. Her grandmother sadly has passed this passed fall and Veronica finds herself alone but refuses to acknowledge her loneliness.
