Background:
Heinreich was born on a snowy night tof the wealthiest family in the North and the 2nd wealthiest in all of Amestris. His family are the owners of the nations largest railroad company, a large series of mines, plantations, factories, and banks. His family also has a rich history of service in the nations military and politics. From even a young age Heinreich was fascinated with alchemy after hearing stories of his ancestors many achievements. He learned how to hunt deer and other wild life on his families lands, as well as hike in the mountains in the north. He would study the history and cultures of not only Amestris but its neighbors as well. He began his formal education at the age of 6 learning math, science, music, fencing, and all the other foundations of high society. By age 12 he began his military and advanced education in the ways of business, law, military theory, and his most favorite Alchemy. His sisters would bug him non-stop to show them alchemy and he would do his best to show them and his parents his progress in the art. He also would study his families large archive of books on alchemic theory and the laws of alchemy.

By age 20 Heinreich was ready to enter the military but asked his father to let him become a State Alchemist and not to use his influence to get him a commission. To his satisfaction he was granted his wish. He registered fot the State alchemist exams a year early to allow him to study and improve his craft. He also continued his study in the ways of business and politics. Things he knew he would use to his benefit when in the military.
