A family was out for a nice relaxing sea voyage on their boat, when a storm suddenly came out of nowhere and tossed their boat around. Luckily, they all took shelter in the bottom of the boat, but when the storm subsided they found themselves shipwrecked on a possibly deserted island. Now they must survive until help possibly comes...if it ever comes.

Serena, the ten year old daughter was a nature lover and had many books about plants and animals. So off she went into the trees and brush with her journal and bag.

Miranda was trying to comfort the baby in her arms and getting what she could salvage from the ship to make a makeshift crib for the baby and didn't notice Serena going off into the trees and brush.

Silver Bleeding Moon Serena, the ten year old daughter was a nature lover and had many books about plants and animals. So off she went into the trees and brush with her journal and bag. Connor was busy working on trying to build them a structure just at least for them to spend the night. He did what he could make with what he could find and, while it wasn't the best, it would at least block the rain when it came in. He noticed Serena walking into the woods as he called out, "Serena be careful. We don't know what is out there... don't wonder too far."

Serena turned towards Connor and smiled "I won't! Promise!" She then ran trough the trees drawing a map in her journal plants that she thought to be edible. Some that she wasn't sure she broke off a piece and put it in her bag. Soon she came to a pond and decide to turn back to tell of her findings.

Miranda eventually got the baby to calm down and laid him down in a bundle of blankets that she was able to get from the ship inside the structure. She was also able to to get the diaper bag and some other things which she placed in a hole in the sand by the structure that her husband had made. "Good job on the structure sweetheart. It should hold up for a few days hopefully, but now we need to make a fire." she said.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV Miranda eventually got the baby to calm down and laid him down in a bundle of blankets that she was able to get from the ship inside the structure. She was also able to to get the diaper bag and some other things which she placed in a hole in the sand by the structure that her husband had made. "Good job on the structure sweetheart. It should hold up for a few days hopefully, but now we need to make a fire." she said. "Thanks. We should stay here for now, but we should move more deeper into the island after I see if it is safe." He replied as he turned towards her as he kissed his wife's cheek, "I'll start the fire, but we might need to look and see if we can catch any fish, crabs, or anything really." He had quite a few ration bars but not enough to last them too long, "Also... we need to see if we can get some water..."

DraculasLittlePrincess IV Serena quickly returned to the beach. Once there she hurried to her parents' side. "Mother is it okay if I get my books from the cabin? Just a few of them? I don't know if these are safe." She then hands her journal to her father.

"We can always get some of the ocean water and boil it." Melinda said to Connor, before looking at her daughter. "Serena please be careful trying to get what books you can. And don't go where the boat is partly sunken into the ocean."

He pulled away as he walked over to Serena as he smiled as he looked at her, "Come on... lets get your books." Serena grabs her father's hand and runs toward the ship. "Did you see my notes? There was a pond with frogs! they were loud." Once on the ship she runs to her room, careful of the water. She carefully picks out the most helpful then as many as her bag as she can.

He let go of her hand as he began digging through the ship to find other items for them to use. Eventually he found the first aid kit and a large knife they could use. Afterwards he made his way to his daughter, glancing at the water in the boat knowing he would need to swim under for any other goods that could be underwater. He looked at Serena as he smiled, "How is everything? Find your books?" Serena smiles at her father and says "Yup! Two on plants, one on animals and a book for the baby. I also got some spare clothes and blankets." She carries a bundle in a light blue blanket that seems a bit big for a child her size but she just hums as she walks along smiling. "I wonder if the baby will like The Very Hungry Caterpillar. If not, tomorrow I can get Goodnight Moon." She looks at the ground for a bit then looks back up "One of my books talks about medicine so I'll let Mother have that one. Do you wanna look at them too?"

(Sorry i took a bit to reply sweatdrop ) Melinda watched her husband and daughter go off to the boat. Then she turned her attention to the baby as he slept and tried to start making a fire from the few sticks she saw laying around.

DraculasLittlePrincess IV (Sorry i took a bit to reply sweatdrop ) Melinda watched her husband and daughter go off to the boat. Then she turned her attention to the baby as he slept and tried to start making a fire from the few sticks she saw laying around. Serena runs up to their camp placing her bundle next to the sleeping baby. "Here mother. Some books for you and the baby. Father might wanna look at the plant book." Serena then makes a bed next to the baby. She sits cross-legged on top and pulls out her other book on plants double checking which plants are edible and which are poisonous while she hums.
