Your first world to liberate is Neonette City, a once bustling high tech city that has been ravaged by heartless. The original inhabitants were forced underground in order to survive being attacked. They live in small communities in the subway tunnels, sewers, and natural caves. They only emerge for food and fresh water.
The cities current residents are heartless and Amy's underlings, so don't expect a warm welcome if your found out to be a keyblader of light.

The gummi ships will land in the center of the safe zone, a run-down city block, where the main highway is being used as a landing strip for ships. The underpass of the highway is where the militia there is stationed and where the young warriors will mobilize and move out.
You can find residences and small shops down a tunnel dug into the side of the underpass. The tunnel will open up into an open area, where there are makeshift buildings acting as houses and stores.

Rushden was pretty quiet for the majority of the trip. He was trying his hardest to concentrate on not killing them. Also, he was trying to fight the butterflies in his stomach. The thought of seeing Aurora again made him feel so giddy. He needed to hide it though, as bad as he was at it. He would occasionally purr, or his tail would wag briefly. He'd catch it and stop. He needed to stay focused, but darn it if he wasn't excited to see her again.
Aurora was a born and raised resident of Neonette. She was the first person they met when they crash landed there. She helped them take the first orb, which cleared a path for them to make progress reclaiming the city. She stayed behind though to protect her people. Rush was disappointed in her decision, but he understood.
He took a deep breath as the landing strip was becoming visible. He brought the ship in gently and was able to do a smooth, by the book landing. As the ship came to a smooth halt he let out his breath and leaned back in his seat, hands still trembling. He let out a nervous chuckle and looked to Kai.
"Smoother than last time yeah?" he said with a relieved smile. He unfastened his seatbelt and was already at the ship door. He wasn't trying to run off ahead of them, he was just...eager.
Cole had been casually eating chips during the entire flight. He was warry of the new kid and frankly wished he wasn't there but it was far to late to protest. He had no desire to learn about him, that was his little brother's thing. So he ate chips, turned on some music and let the auto pilot do the majority of the work. The trip was uneventful, so he could afford to let their fancy ship coast to their location.
As they came closer to the world and broke through the atmosphere, they could see the landing strip becoming visible. He sat up, cracked his knuckles and turned auto pilot off. He was coming in a little hot, but he slowed as much as possible and made a rough landing, the ship rumbling slightly, almost tossing his soda out of its cupholder. "Oops.." he muttered. They came to a gradual halt and Cole huffed. "Good enough," he said. "Let get going. I don't want us falling behind and missing out on the orb." He knew it wasn't a competition, but he wasn't about to let Kai and Rush get ahead of them. Mainly Kai.

Roy nearly fell out of his seat, catching himself as Cole adjusted the ship and landed. Leaving his backpack in the ship, he followed shortly behind Cole with a look of awe at the dying city. How long had it been like this? He kept an eye out for any monsters who might try to follow them. The kid didn't know a lot, but his uncle had called them the Heartless. Evil little buggers with black hearts. Roy knew them mainly as the angry munchkins. "Ah yes, the orb. Let's go?"
What was the orb?
Nevermind that. It was probably an important object they needed to find and that was all he really needed to know about it. Roy totally had this covered.

Ronan was quiet himself during the entire trip, mentally tallying how much of what he had in his first aid kit and in potions that he might have, in case of an emergency. One can't be too prepared for injuries on a mission, right? That only made logical sense to him. He sighed, keeping his hands firmly in his lap. He was not going to rummage through his items. He didn't need to. ...Maybe just a peek- No! There was no need to! He looked down at his satchel, staring at it. He opened it and started counting again. A slave to his anxiety. Dammit.
Ronan looked out the window, his face falling as he looked at the broken landscape. "Neonette City. I read about it once. Beautiful architecture. Sad what has happened, though." Then again, that was going to be the norm for some of these worlds. The fight against the dark forces was a tough one, and even tougher still was the recovery.
He almost didn't notice when they landed. He looked up in surprise at Rush, smiling approvingly. "Well done, Rushden! I can't believe it!" He blinked in surprise as Rush was almost completely out of his seat and already at the door in what seemed like seconds. "...You're an eager one, aren't you?" he asked, unbuckling himself from his seat. He got up fluidly from his seat and approached the door, keeping his violet eyes fixed on the terrain, searching for signs of life. "We all know the mission, correct? No one's going to rush off on their own?" He turned an almost pointed look at Rush, only due to his eagerness.

“Yeah.” Kai said, unbuckling himself from his seat. “Smoother than last time.” He added, gathering himself. He shook his head and smirked, watching as Rushden hurried out of the ship. He knew exactly where the younger boy was going and figured he wouldn't spoil the kid's fun. He walked towards the doorway out of the ship and looked around. It had been a while since the last time they had been on this world. A lot of work had been done since they had last set foot on world. But he wasn't here to gawk, he was here for work. They had to find any information they could on the whereabouts of the this heartless.
“No one in this ship should go rushing off on their own.” Kai said, looking back at Ronan. “It's not us I'm really worried about. It's... I'm not going to bring him up, let's just hope this doesn't go off the rails like our last few ventures to this world. It's just fortunate that, in spite of that, we were able to clear up enough of this place.” Kai explained. “Let's just, get going and hope we can find this thing before the situation spirals.” Kai said, stepping out of the ship.
Diamond exited the ship almost immediately, ready to get the show on the road. All they really needed was to be pointed in the right direction so she could punch it. She didn't really get to spend much time on this world, so she wasn't as well versed in the goings on as Kai and her brother. She decided to go straight to whoever was in charge of the outpost and get information on the heartless. Heading towards the command post. She caught a glimpse of Rush heading into the command post, probably going to meet up with that Aurora girl he wouldn't shut up about. Way to put the mission first. She walked through the door and saw back on the mission board behind the area where they held their briefs. She figured that would be the best place to start looking for directions on where this heartless went and what it looked like so she could punch it.
Kyoudan felt the landing it could've been smoother, but for what it was worth, Cole did a good job. He unbuckled himself from his seat and grabbed his sword, fixing it to his sash. He walked towards the exit and headed down the ramp towards the command post. He wasn't as gung-ho to get started as some of the others on the mission. Not that he didn't want to complete the mission, just that the others seemed overly excited. It was their job to dispatch heartless, so he carried himself in more of a professional manner. He made his way to the command center, seeing Diamond on the way in, and stood in front of the mission board, searching for the information they might have on the Heartless they were supposed to be hunting.

Rushden walked into the command post and tried to play it cool. He took deep, steady breaths and casually shoved his hands in his pockets. He scanned the room for Aurora as the other students filed in. There was Diamond...Cole...a few new people he didn't recognize. He shuffled his feet as he kept a diligent lookout for her. He knew what they were here for, and it wasn't to mingle with old friends. He hoped Ronan didn't think any less of him for it. Kai was probably used to it by now and understood that Rush thought of Aurora as more than just a friend. Rush impatiently waited for Kai and Ronan to catch up, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Cole was eager to get started. He stopped in front of the board with his brother to look and see if there was anything interesting. After scanning over some heartless information he caught a glimpse of Kai and frowned. This wasn't a planet of happy memories. All this place reminded him of was the struggle trying to reclaim this section of the city, with Kai nagging him every step of the way like an annoying video game tutorial.
Cole, don't be so reckless. Cole, you're going to get us all killed. Cole you should learn to follow orders. Blah Blah Blah! He got his tasks done. He just hoped that whatever he was assigned it was far, far away from Kai. He glanced back at the new kid who followed them here, and then his brother. "Cmon you two...I don't wanna miss the brief..." he muttered, trying to hide his deteriorating mood.
