Yakatori hails from the Land of Iron. He was born into the branch family of the Yomi clan. His early youth mimicked other kids his age: he spent time in the forest,got into trouble, played games, made friends, and helped his parents with chores. As he grew older his responsibilities grew with the added duties from his clan. He traveled with his mother performing holy rites to other lands. The more he traveled the more he became obsessed with the outside world. The number of countries astounded him, and even more so, the people they produced. People with all sorts of abilities and powers freely roamed the land called ninja; he was fascinated with them. When he entered his early teens he had cut himself off from everything besides his clan and nature.

His days were filled with learning the ways of the Yomi from the head clan or hunting with his father to provide food for the clan. When he was lucky his mother would take him along for practical lessons when she would perform rites. His father did not share the same abilities as his mother or himself but was still treated as a valued member. Whatever spare time he could muster he spent in the woods searching for new animals and place while he dreamt of far off countries.

The civil war in the clan ravaged his family and changed his life forever. During the bloody battle with Hargon he lost many old friends, clan members, and even his own mother to the war. To add insult to injury the very country that he had lived in and served pushed the rest of the clan from its borders. Yakatori and his father traveled to the Land of Fire, his father had heard that is was a safe country with a strong military and that they could make money there. It wasn’t long after they settled that his father met a ninja from the Village of the Hidden Leaf. The ninja noticed Yakatori’s interest in the outside world and his overall thirst of knowledge, and suggested to his father that Yakatori enter the academy. With persistent begging to his father and some convincing words from the ninja; his father agreed to enroll Yakatori in the ninja academy. Yakatori felt that this would be his first step in his journey around the world

The walls are transparent, though they have a glow to them that makes it look like the sun reflecting off of glass. Ornate glyphs and seals rotate and move across the surface, creating a beautiful spectacle.
