The pair had entered the building and bypassed everything real quick seeing as he was honestly in a rush to be done with going around everywhere for the day. It was starting to catch up to him even though it was still around mid day. The boy honestly was just ready to relax for now. Dealing with Raine, talking with Rosa, going out with Evie and Rosa and now having to talk to Vel it was all draining on the boy. He stopped outside the door and looked at Evie with his one visible eye. "Oh, now that I'm back by the way I'd be more than happy to help you continue developing your hand to hand combat. We slayers get the joy of having some natural raw physical strength, so it's nice to be able to fall back on your own body when you have no other option, but still be in control of it. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to refine a style that fits all you. It'd be exciting to once again be your teacher and I sharper my own personal style. Maybe my ego needs to be a bit more inflated" The boy did a quick joking jab himself in response to hers smiling a bit at the action with the playful tone to signify the joke. " As for the food situation. You let me worry about Rosa if she comes around. I plan on cooking something if you would prefer that over some takeout. I don't mind either way. The choice is up to you. Just let me know what you'd like to eat and what you'd prefer we do."

The boy was about to knock on the door when he realized something. His cheeks turned a bit red in embarrassment as a sudden epiphany came to mind. The slayer was frozen for a few seconds, before turning back to Evie and looking away not wanting to make eye contact with her. His voice was a bit of a whisper so as to keep it between the two of them. Old Vel may be, but the man could hear things if he really wanted to. "Um....by the way. I know this is sudden, and all. I um....was wondering if I could maybe crash in your room tonight? If that's ok? I may....have just realized that I'm kinda.....homeless? I...might have rushed off before i left...without taking a few precautions? I wasn't exactly...thinking straight I guess. I...may or may not have received a letter at the post office upon returning back into town. E-either way we can talk more about it later! Let's go announce the news and get this meeting over with." Noctis gave a light nervous laugh turning around as he cleared his throat as he quickly looked at her with a apologetic guilty smile, before knocking on the door a couple of times before opening the door to allow Evie in first. He knew that the blush haired girl would more than likely not be happy about finding out such a sudden fact of him being without a home. If anything a scolding was definitely coming his way later it would seem. Noctis mentally cursed his own carelessness in not paying for stuff ahead of time. His demeanor returned to normal for the most part....but it was obvious that he was a bit on edge on how Evie might respond to the news and later.

Once she entered in he'd follow behind before closing the door. The old man was sitting at his desk apparently working on papers or something it seemed. Part of him wondered if it had something to do with Raine. It still left a sour taste in his mouth, but he'd deal with it for the time being. He trusted Octavia to not make a bad decision....he hoped, but that didn't matter right now. "Master Vel, I heard you wanted to talk to me? I hope you don't mind if we keep it a bit....short. I'm starting to feel drained with everything and it's finally catching up with me. I....actually need to send Kaya a message to let her know some stuff came up involving a certain...red headed individual so I'll have to postpone catching up with her some more." The last thing he wanted was his younger friend and her exceed buddy that he ditched the two. Considering he had promised to return later today if it was possible. This way at least she'd have a heads up. "But...first Evie and I were talking along the way over here. We both have something we'd like to announce to you, although I'll let her make it since she has the name and everything. I'm rather interested to hear what it is myself" He indicated towards the girl giving her the chance to speak up. Noctis walked to one of the seats and sat across the old man waiting for Evie to say the announcement and name of the team. It wouldn't be surprising to if there was any potential paperwork that may have been involved, but it was worth it regardless. He wasn't lying though earlier. It should've been the two of them did a long time ago before they traveled together once she joined Sabertooth. The thought didn't really click in his mind though considering mentally in his mind they were already a team. There were different perks that came with having an official guild team though that would benefit the two of them in the long run.
