When he's around friends, he's able to relax more and joke around and, in general, be at ease. He likes hanging out with his friends in his free time, but also enjoys the time he has to himself when he's training or out on patrol. He has no problems being upfront and honest about things, or telling people what he's really thinking about things.
As Batman, he has determined that he's not afraid to kill, if he sees it being for the greater good. He has already decided that if he gets the opportunity, he will be ending the Joker's life.

Biography
When Anthony was two, his parents were killed in a car crash when a drunk driver swerved into their lane. Whether due to laziness of the government or they just couldn't find any of his relatives to take him in, he was put into a foster home. When he was three, he was playing with a toy that one of the older kids wanted, and when the kid tried to take it from him, he refused to let it go. His reward for standing his ground was more bullying. One day, the older kid pushed him over, and as he fell, his head hit the edge of a table. He was rushed to the hospital, where they were able to mend his wounds. Unfortunately, the fall took away his eyesight, rendering him completely blind. Being so young, and now blind, he began to be moved from foster home to foster home, never spending more than six months at one home. A lot of the foster parents found it difficult to care for a blind child, so he was never able to stay in any one place for too long.
When he was thirteen, he ended up getting moved to a foster home in Gotham. He was there for a couple months and he recognized the pattern repeating itself, and he knew another move was inevitable. To save himself and the parents the trouble, he packed his bag and ran away late one night. It was difficult, as he didn't really know the city, but he didn't really care where he ended up. So with his staff in hand and bag over his shoulder, he left the home and began walking. As luck would have it, he took a wrong turn and ended up right in the middle of a group of thugs. Just as they were about to advance on him, Batman showed up and took down the group. Batman stopped and addressed Tony, asked him why he was out so late and where he lived. Tony explained that he was in a foster home, but he was running away because he didn't want to be moved again, that he kept getting moved and he hated it. The man assured him that he wouldn't be moved again, he'd make sure of it, and then walked with him back to the foster home. The next day, none other than Bruce Wayne showed up at the foster home and asked about adopting Tony. The parents were confused, but weren't stupid enough to turn down the billionaire. The paperwork was filled out and Tony went home with Bruce.
When he arrived, he discovered that he wasn't the only kid there. There was another boy, younger than him, and far more grown up than any child should be, but then again, at this point so was Tony. Years of being moved around from place to place left Tony with the realization that he couldn't rely on anyone else, other people always let you down. He and the other boy, Damian, got along fine, which Bruce seemed to be pleased by. Over the next week, he was introduced to several other people, all of whom had apparently been taken under Bruce's wing, including d**k Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, and a few others. Tony spent several weeks slowly exploring every inch of the manor, trying to memorize it so he could find his way around easier. More than once, Damian would start to follow him without saying anything. They would walk in silence for a while and then Damian would leave him to it. Normally he wouldn't bother exploring like this in a new home, but this one felt different. The way he was treated, the way the others talked to him, was different than he'd ever been treated. They didn't pretend not to notice his disability, but rather treated him like his disability wasn't a big deal, like it was as normal as his hair color. They didn't tip toe around him like people had in the past, they let him handle things on his own, but still offered help when he appeared to be struggling. He felt more at home here than he had anywhere in his life.
After about 4 months living there, he overheard Bruce and d**k arguing over something. He would've ignored it if he hadn't heard his name come up. Worried they were going to send him away like everyone else had, he listened closer, but couldn't quite make sense of what they were arguing about. Bruce apparently wanted to start something but d**k didn't think it was a good idea. d**k was trying to insist that he leave well enough alone and Bruce didn't seem to want to take that suggestion. More confused than anything, Tony went on his way. Over the next week, nobody brought up the argument, and Tony worried they were actually going to send him away. More weeks passed and eventually Tony forgot about the argument entirely.
A couple months later, a short time after he turned fourteen, Tony was shown something he never could have dreamed of. Bruce, d**k, and Damian took him under the house, where they revealed to him that Bruce was, in fact, Batman, and Damian was Robin. d**k was apparently Nightwing, who mostly guarded Bludhaven, but often came back to Gotham when he was needed. At the time, they offered to give him training too, and would leave it up to him whether he wanted to be a hero or just use the training to get through his life. It took him a day to let this all sink in, and a couple more days to accept their offer for training, though he did it with trepidation, unsure if he would even be able to do anything like they do, with his very obvious disability. He accepted, figuring that if they were offering, they must know a way around it.
Over the next five years, Tony was given the best schooling available, and spent a lot of time training with everyone who came around, learning different skills from each of them. Though he learned from and trained with all of them, he spent the most time with Damian, and before too long, considered Damian his best friend. Damian was always trying to Tony on his toes, wanting to make him prepared for anything, any time. Sometimes, Damian would agree to let Tony go out as Robin in his place, so that Tony could test out his skills against actual criminals, in a setting where Batman would still be there to keep an eye on him if necessary. The first couple times were rocky, at best, but eventually Tony was able to hold his own against the criminals with no help from Batman. He knew he wasn't officially Robin, and probably never would be, but he was pleased that he was able to fight almost as well as Robin himself. He started thinking of if he wanted to be a hero too, and what hero could he be?
When he was nineteen, the heroes around the world started disappearing, and Bruce, realizing he would be following suit at some point, set up an legacy initiative. He prepared things so that Tony, currently the only one in the Wayne family that wasn't a hero, would inherit the manor and the company. Tony was worried that he, too, would go when the rest did, but in the end he and Alfred were the only ones left behind. After a week, Alfred informed Tony that he was taking a leave of absence, and that he'd found and hired someone to replace him in the manor while he was gone. Tony understood his need to leave, even if he wished he'd stay. He couldn't imagine how hard it must be for Alfred. He'd only known everyone for five years, Alfred had been with them for most of his life. Of course he needed time to grieve.
Over the next five years, Tony poured himself into his work. He devoted most of his time to training, knowing Gotham needed another Batman, and he was the only one left who could. When he wasn't training, he was working on an artificial intelligence system, or working on something or other for Wayne Enterprises. He requested a new suit from Lucius, putting Bruce's suit up in the cave with the others, though he didn't go out every night like Bruce did. He did go out when something major was happening, putting a stop to whatever was, but then he'd retreat back to the manor for more training.
One of the times he went out, Bane was causing an uproar, and Tony wasn't as prepared for Bane as he thought he was. Luckily for him, Wonder Boy showed up in time to help take him down, but Tony was still seriously injured from the fight. He managed to remain conscious long enough to direct Wonder Boy to Wayne Manor, but was unconscious by the time they reached it. Unfortunately, this revealed to Hazel(who Alfred had hired to replace him) that she was actually working for Batman, something he'd managed to keep hidden from her for years. In return, he learned of the secret she was keeping from him as well, when he woke up the next morning completely healed and feeling fine. The woman that had been working for him around the manor was actually a mage, though if he were being honest, he had suspected something was up with her, but he hadn't known what. He offered a room in the manor for Wonder Boy, and offered him access to the Cave and training room. Always one to capitalize on an opportunity, he trained with Wonder Boy, learning new skills that he could use as Batman.
After Wonder Boy moved into the manor, Tony started going out more frequently as Batman, but still not as much as he should. Recently, he's started going out several nights a week, with much assistance from his AI, who monitors his suit closely and is able to offer advice(or guidance) when he needs it.
