++Brave++
In the heat of the moment, nothing seems to phase him. He will push through even a roaring fire to get to where he needs to be.

++Quick++
Ern is physically agile as well as quick thinking. Although he may not always be right the first time around, he's also quick to fix his mistakes.

++Athletic++
He used to run track in school so he is physically fit, definitely able to swing around a ball and chain without a problem.

++Protective++
He will protect his own with every resource at his disposal. He doesn't tend to make friends fast, but those who are close to him he'd do anything to keep from harm.

--Sullen--
He has two emotions that are generally shown to the public: angry and sad. Seeing him smile is very rare, even if he is actually happy. He's a regular Edgelord.

--Hot-headed--
Going back to the emotions, here's the angry one. There's a hairline trigger to his temper. Regular. Edgelord.

--Opinionated--
Not to sound racist, but he really hates monsters - including the one that he carries with him. Once he gets an idea or point of view in his head, it's really hard to get him to let go of it. He tends to judge other Hunters by their weapons and the ability of the weapon more than the abilities they might have on their own.

--PTSD--
When the museum his class was visiting was haunted, he saw a huge shadowy form and heard the phrase "You can see me, little one?" directly to him. Now, every time he hears the term "little one" it takes him back to that moment and sets him off. He also has vivid nightmares about the attack and the huge shadow falling over him and lifting him up and tossing him aside. When he landed, one of his shoulders was dislocated and he was burned. This often comes back to haunt him as a phantom pain.

He is physically strong and also strong-willed. He tends to know what he wants and has a plan to get it.

He is not a young giant, having seen many battles over the course of his life. He knows the taste of fear, but even though he's battle-hardened, he still has almost a fatherly aura about him.

He knows how to work with his hands. He used to create weapons so strengthening already-crafted items comes naturally to him, and he can pass that knowledge on to others.

He tends to talk over people, no pun intended.

--Bitchy--
He's always compaining about one thing or another. His age, the fact that he's a weapon now, he doesn't actually have hands anymore to be able to make things, arthritis, wow you really don't know how to use my weapon do you?? He also hates the cold and if the temperature drops too much, he will literally refuse to do anything.

--Pessimistic--
He has slightly suicidal tendencies and a bleak outlook of his current existence.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Ern has always been able to see ghosts or "monsters" as shadowy forms around him. Being a socially awkward nerd, he dove into fantasy worlds to try and make more sense of what he was seeing.

On a high school field trip, the museum they were visiting was haunted by one of said creatures who lifted him up and burned him. The experience gave him PTSD and other issues that drove him to try even harder to figure out what these things were. He started trying to hunt them down on his own, seeking to understand what happened to him.

The Hunters took notice of his efforts and sent someone to recruit him. He was promised answers to the questions he'd been asking his whole life and the support of others also trying to hunt down the monsters. He was also promised power to be able to keep the same thing from happening to other people.

All of this was enough to convince him to join up.

Looks good! The only thing I'd change really quickly is the backstory - I don't think those of Halloween would stage a gigantic attack against something, but they definitely may have "haunted" the place with their presence, causing a lot of unseen Fear (since regular humans can't see them!) Otherwise you are good to go!
